NeuLash before and after photos

TotalBeauty.com
The Dos and Don'ts of At-Home Waxing

You must read this hair removal guide before attempting to wax yourself

Once you overlook the temporary pain, at-home waxing is mighty tempting. But before you try that waxing kit you bought, read these essential tips so you wind up with smooth, hair-free skin -- not ingrowns and frustration.

See tips

Before...and .... after
This is only a three day trial and as you can see: the second photo you can see more of the length and thickening of the lash line on the model.
Neulash is an innovative eyelash serum that helps grow healthy natural lashes and you can use it on your eyebrows too!
It works as a conditioner when you apply a daily application along the lashline using the brush applicator. It works just like liquid eyeliner although it's your eyelash vitamin!
It gives proteins, peptides, vitamins anda moisturization to help strengthen the lashes. Neulash is a great product to add to your anti-aging beauty regime so your lashes don't give away your age!
The Neulash product is opthamalmologist and dermatologist safety tested. Contact wearers can safely use the product also.
It is cruelty, paraben, and fragrance free! Good news in part since the beginning of mascara was the year 1913 and a chemist named T.L. Wilson invented a salve of black coal dust and petroleum jelly for his sister Mabel. Two years later he founded his company, Maybelline!
Try some Neulash today and you will be happy with the results! Get it at www.neulash.com !

Makeup removers: more than just washing your face

TotalBeauty.com
Top 14 Makeup Removers

See which products easily stripped off eye makeup (and everything else)

We makeup junkies need a good product to take it all off at the end of the day -- no clogged pores or stained pillowcases for us! The makeup removers on this list left TotalBeauty.com readers with clean skin and without oily residue or dryness.

See products

I use three different kinds of makeup removers and facial washes. I have eye makeup remover that I vary between buying the store brand and buying Ahava! I then use either a moisturizing facial wash or a squeaky clean for oily skin formula if I have been in alot of makeup or sunscreen.
Then...I use the Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Cleansing cloths for when I am on the go.
What ever you choose, please choose something! Enjoy the beauty bubble!

P.S. Remember to visit www.awakearizona.net for full details on the conference starting tonight. I'll be there and I look forward to seeing you too! It's hosted by City of Grace in Mesa. Chuck Pierce, Lance Wallnau and Cindy Jacobs just to name a few!

Mole? Freckle? or Cancer? Check!

TotalBeauty.com
Quiz: Is That Mole Skin Cancer?

Answer these questions to find out if you have a suspect mole that should be checked out by a dermatologist, stat!

Quiz: Is That Mole Skin Cancer?

Have a funny looking mole that you've thought twice about? Worried that it might be cancerous? The following questions will help you determine if it's time to see a dermatologist.

Take the quiz

Skin cancer is no joke! And when you live in the sunbelt areas of the United States, checkin a funky spot, freckle or mole is a must do!

In Arizona, we get alot of "secondary" sun exposure just from going in and out of our homes, cars and air conditioned businesses, let alone hitting the Big Surf or rivers and lakes for water fun.

Try the UV SunSense bands that I profiled earlier in the week, or just reapply sunscreen constantly. When I say constantly, I mean on the hour and whenever you come in from the waterplay.

And as always, if you have a skin patch that looks funny, it may be worth a trip to the doctor. Enjoy!

The Secret trial results and signature styles

TotalBeauty.com
Best and Worst Celebrity Signature Styles

From Angelina Jolie's cat eye to Anna Wintour's iconic bob -- see the looks we love and loathe

Establishing a signature style can be a great way to make a statement, but it can also turn into a rut. Look to these examples for clues on how long you should stick with your signature style and if it's really right for you.

I have two topics for today:
1. The Secret clinical strength trial results. First, myself, one man and one other woman tried the product. For 48 hours we only used this and actually had some heat in Arizona to try it with.
The man saw no difference. Still sweaty and still stinky.
The other woman saw a significant difference. Very little actual wetness and no odor. Nice.
I, on the other hand, had the usual sweaty camel stinky pit. Yes, I ran as usual that day and ate the normal amount of garlic.
So what the difference in experiences is, the man and I wiped it on as any other anti-persperant. The other woman: read the directions. She took her evening shower, applied the Secret clinical strength anti-perspirant to her underarms and then the following day had great results.

So note to self: read the directions and allow the product time to "cure" in your pit like a Honey Baked Ham cures in sugared brine. Nice.

Finally, the signature style. I believe in it, wear a version of it, and it never really goes out of style because you have created it for yourself. Enjoy the beauty bubble!

12 Best & Worst Acne Products

Zits happen, so trust these unbiased reader reviews to tell you which acne products actually deliver

Sure, dealing with acne in your teens is cruel -- but in your 20s, 30s and 40s? That's just plain unfair. Here we uncover the top reader-tested acne-fighting products, as well as the products that did not deliver results, so you can save your time and money.

Okay, if you are going on vacation, or are out in the sun with kids alot, you have got to try these!
Developed by a nuclear physicist, with the same technology to detect UV radiation just like what is used at nuclear power plants or in jobs that deal with nuclear medicine to detect gamma rays.
You put it on, then put on your sunscreen including covering the band, when you step into the sun it turns a blue-purple shade which is how you know it is activated.
Now, when the band begins to lose color it is time to reapply sunscreen or get out of the sun!
I think this is perfect for trips to theme parks, cruise ships, beaches or the soccer field and water park because now instead of just getting a sunburn and finding out that your sunscreen didn't work, you have an actual indicator other than red skin.
For more information visit, www.UVSunSense.com
and...to get your hands on my two free goodies...email me your next sunny vacation plans!
Please include your name, contact info and summer sun plans and a winner will be drawn at random on June 23rd and contacted by email.
Enjoy the daily beauty bubble and see you with your wristband of UV Sun Sense on at the water park!

The Secret Clinical secret trial

TotalBeauty.com
Luxe vs. Less Skin Care

Find out what products to splurge on and when to save your hard-earned dollars

You don't have to spend half your paycheck on skincare products to stay wrinkle and pimple-free. Dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban and P&G scientist Mary Begovic Johnson helped us compare products with similar ingredients that are very different in cost to see which are really worth the price. Here's what we found.

See products

Enjoy the beauty bubble today and just know that on this end, I'm conducting my own "scientific experiement". I and several others are doing the "left pit test" of the Secret Clinical anti-perspirant.
Normally, I would only wear deoderant on a day that I was going to be among other people because I don't want alot of synthetic chemicals layered in the area next to my lymph nodes.
But, with all the travel, different climates, hectic and stress schedules: I have decided to try this. On me, it seems like nothing works or it works for a week and quits. So...I have several people trying it on the left arm pit for the next few days and their regular brand ( to be named later) on the right pit.
Good luck and may the sweat of a camel stench be stopped by a clinical brand of anti-perspirant.

Best Anti-Aging Serums

From Avon and Olay to Madonna's rumored fave, find out which wrinkle treatments really work

Finding the perfect balance of moisture and effectiveness in an anti-aging treatment isn't easy, but with the help of TotalBeauty.com product reviews, you can pinpoint the right skin care serum for your budget and skin type.

Ah, the hair color. Whether you do it for fun, necessity or to cover the grey: there is an age old struggle between the salon and at home.
I love going to the salon and there was a time that I had the most amazing, long, healthy, tri-color weaved hair of platinum blonde, gold blonde and brown. Oh! It was gorgeous. Perhaps a bit too Samson'ish? Because one time, when at the same salon, with the same stylist, it went anything but the same. It was awful.
It has taken two full years, of only using semi permanent color in a dark brown to mask the damage to get my hair back to healthy.
What the stylist did at the salon was so bad, that it broke the hair near the root. The rest of it had blown cuticle and burns all over it and felt like mush, or over cooked spaghetti that's been left in a dirty sink full of used dish water.
Finally, two months ago, I bobbed my hair short ( for the third time in my life..short hair, does that say anything to you!) and my son says I look like Dora the Explorer.
Unless I"m in humid weather and then I look like a cross between the Saturday Night Live character played by Gilda Radner " Roseanna Roseanna Danna" and Dora the Explorer.

If you color your hair at home and like a box, I prefer Feria by L'Oreal even though they don't make a good dark brown, they do make a good blonde and black. I've tried some Clairol brands and enjoyed them. But now, I prefer to venture into Sally's beauty supply and just pick up some Ion 3N, and mix with a 10 volume developer and let it sit a bit to cover the grey I deny I have.

Oy! I was just talking with some friends about this very subject:
When do you start to use anti-aging products?
When do you specifically start to use serums?
Does age or necessity prevail in the quest to use or buy or commit to an anti-aging regime? Cause let's face it: it's a commitment financially and in your time twice a day!
Finally, when do you go the next step and move from over the counter and department or drugstore brands into...the doctor's office?
Well, the Bible says that "pride goes before a fall"...

Okay, summer is a time of transition and always flexible with what works and what doesn't is easily forgivable!
I feel that Fall and Winter are prim and proper times of the year where hair and makuep should be "in place" and exact. Matte and polished at the same time! Though when it comes to summer hair and makeup: I think that bronzey, messy, been playin hard no time for clean up, just some gloss and go looks are perfect.
This is my opinion...enjoy the daily beauty bubble and I'll definately send some more info as it comes in.

Enjoy! I know that in the summer months, with makeup melting off more than staying in place, adding to your stock can be a cost challenge!
But wait! Check out today's beauty bubble for reader tried and true test results of what works and what doesn't.
In my personal opinion: a stain is always a worth investment and Lorac Sheer Wash is a favorite as well as Benefit Cosmetics' Benetint!
I swear by bronzer and my all time favorite is AVEDA cool stick ( very hard to find) in "cool mint". This AVEDA cosmetic product much like Neutrogena Cool Mist sunscreen actually goes on the skin with a cold feeling. It lasts for a bit, but when your skin is hot, it feels great!

If I had to buy any product for the summer, I would spend my money on mascara. Like the L'Oreal dual ended (red and white) lash building mascara. It actually puts a "sock" on your eyelash and then you color over it. Super long fat lashes in an instant!

I'm going to be reviewing a new lash builder and stay tuned for the reader giveaway!

Enjoy your discount makeup goodies and stay tuned for more from the road!
P.S. speaking of the road: in all my traveling, literally every few days a few hundred miles, here is what I do for my daily makeup and cleansing.

1. I use the Kirkland Signature daily facial cleansing cloths because they work excellent and are very affordable at 150 total for $11.36!
2. Tinted moisturizer that I make myself between a pump of Arbonne RE9 anti-aging day lotion and About Face Line Defiance liquid foundation. I pump one of each, mix in my palms and smear it on.
3. A wide swipe of the AVEDA cool stick bronzer over my cheeks, chin, forhead and lips.
4. Mascara...as much as I can get on in the wee amount of time I have.
5. If time allows...I draw on my brows and line my lips.
Ready set go!
