Happy Monday! I love Mondays  and I get so much accomplished. Like, on my to do list for today is to watch the Season 2 opener for Under the Dome. Which was last summer's break out hit. Will lightning strike twice for the show?

Stephen King wrote this first episode, and has a cameo, so tonight's Nielsen ratings are already stacked in the show's favor.

Have you any big plans for an Independence Day celebration? I love celebrating the Fourth of July-but, in Arizona, it's so hot and not a lot of  fun to go do anything since it only cools down to 110 degrees by time the fireworks are set off.

 One of my most favorite Fourth of July celebrations is the year Mancub and I went to the Phoenix Zoo for the Fourth of Zoo-ly celebration. It was a great catered meal, animal encounters and then a perfect viewing spot on the back side of Tempe Town Lake from the east side of the zoo. So much fun!

Now, back to getting a firework worthy manicure for your Independence Day celebrations!

So I have recently forayed into the area called Netflix. It's true. I'm not much of a tv watcher to begin with, but since I've found Netflix on my tv, I am now binge watching Breaking Bad.

What does that have to do with the 19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar? Oh  the s a bunny trail tv watching story. I have been traveling quite a bit lately and while in a hotel room, the tv station the tv was set to when I turned it on had the 19 Kids and Counting show on.

I have read about them on the internet, but once I started watching the show on cable in a hotel room, I fell in love with them! That family has such strong moral values and are such a beacon in a tv stream of sewage. It was so refreshing to see the show. I saw the episode where Derick proposed to Jill. Crying. Literally crying over a tv show late night in a hotel room.

So now with the June 21 wedding just ahead, what will Jill wear?

I just saw the Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt movie called Edge of Tomorrow. I like sci fi. I like Tom Cruise movies ( except Jack Reacher) and I like Emily Blunt.

 The movie is good because it is sort of a new story. ( sort of Halo'ish) The over all production is good too. It just takes a long time to get going. Besides, the line up of movies coming out the rest of the year is one big line up of yawn. Do overs. Repeats and sequels with prequels.

But before I could get to LA Live the following day I had to hustle off to Death Valley CA. Long story.

Here is the Mancub as we are getting ready to leave for San Diego. The photo is a bit blurry because getting him to hold still-let alone, to hold still while wearing and holding a product for me.

LEGOland Chima waterpark: a day of fun and then some *Edited update for summer price increase*

This is a review of my recent trip to the Legoland California waterpark, the new attraction sponsored by Cartoon Network called LEGO Chima Waterpark.  It is a section inside the waterpark dedicated to the characters from LEGO Chima.

UPDATE: I went when the water park opened, but now as of July 7th, 2014, I was just in the park today and there has been a summer price increase for the cabanas. They are now $275 and $250 in the Chima Waterpark and $200 for the original water park area.
