Today is 12/21/2012 and according to the Mayan calendar the end of the world. In fact, many people have flocked to the tiny, picturesque village of Bugarach takes its name from the giant, flat-topped mountain that towers above it. Population  is just 189 people.  

Roads to the mountain will  be blocked. One rumor has it the hilltop will open on the last day and aliens will emerge with spaceships to save nearby humans.
