Hello Sweet Gorgeous,
Happy Saturday!
Prom is around the corner, spring break is coming too, not to mention spring in general!
I recently received a sample of the new Coloricon eyeshadow palette from Wet n Wild that will be available in stores soon. It's 5 pans of shadow that are labeled where they should be applied and a color by number chart is on the back of the package.
The Coloricon 5 pan shadow set sells for $3.99 and can be found at mass retailers like Target, Walmart, Walgreen's, CVS or online.
I love purple shadow for my green eyes, though this pan though it looks pretty, there was very little pigmentation to it and it took a lot of layers to get some color built up. Sad, the color only wore a few hours before fading.
The texture is a bit chalky and was difficult to blend.
What was great was when I used a eyeliner sealer to moisten the large purple shadow for the crease and used it as an eyeliner.
The color swatch on my hand matches the color pan locations in the compact. Overall, for $3.99 this can be a good buy/use if you prep your lids with a primer, then use a fixative like Skindinavia to hold the product on the skin longer.
Sometimes this is what a budget can afford, so just pair with some products that create staying power.
What do you think? Have you tried this, how was your experience?
Remember: you are beautiful! Thank you for visiting the blog and check back for promotions and beauty giveaways!
