Hello Gorgeous!
Thank you so much for all that you have done on social media this week to support the Makeup University TEEN WEEK of 2016!
It is truly my most favorite part of writing this beauty blog!
To wrap up the week, we enter into the realm of nail art and design at the height of what a DIY gal can do!
If you have polish, you can achieve these looks! True, some tools can create better designs, but, if you don't have any there are substitutes!
Let's get in there and see what is going on with nail polish, natural nails and Pretty Hands & Sweet Feet!
Now I love having my nails painted but it rarely lasts very long because I am constantly working with my hands. I saw so many beautiful designs in this book! I tried a beautiful sponge design-it sort of came out, and I think it had to do with the fact that I did not have a traditional sponge.
Using the Pretty Hands & Sweet Feet book, I tested a sponge multicolor design. I used the sponge I had on hand, and I think that is key, work with what you have got!
I am using a design technique that is taught on page 23, using Zoya Remy, Zoya India, butter LONDON Come to bed red and Sally Hansen in Camelflage.
So my finished look is not quite as beautiful as what you see in the book, but that's of no concern, I need to get the correct tools to crate the look. Like a thin brush to make small lines and some tape!
This wood work is my favorite and what I am going to try next!
As I close TEEN WEEK for 2016, I encourage you to try, try, and try again. If at first you do not succeed please try again.
As you can see, I did not succeed in my first effort, but I am going to try again! You will see my second efforts on my Instagram account! (@CherelynnBaker)
To close TEEN WEEK, may I just encouarge you with one small word: BELIEVE
Why?
Because if you believe it, you can achieve it.
Guaranteed!
