It's Monday, in the end of August. Meaning, it's very hot and I'm wishing for cooler weather, and dare I say? Pumpkin spice lattes! 

 

Labor day is coming up and I don't even feel like going anywhere because it's so hot and wild in the world.

 

So I'm busy doing videos and working and hiding out in the air conditioning while dreaming of 64 degree weather!

Monday | Make Up Of | Lipbalm Lantern

Hi ya Gorgeous! 

 Happy Monday! This is actually a late post. I normally post early in the morning, though, as my schedule has changed so has my sleepiness! I am an early to bed and early to rise person though my work schedule changed and now I'm getting to bed late but I still get up early. I say all that to say I just woke up from a late afternoon nap. Now as I should be getting sleepy for bed I'm actually, WIDE awake. 

 

Have you ever watched a youtube video and then wanted to recreate it? That's how this came about. Something popped up into my feed, I watched it, was intrigued, and now, I have recreated it. Hope this helps you because I find the "lipbalm" lantern useful!

Today's video is a "how to" or another cog in the wheel of a loose series of "make up" of things. This series on the channel is slowly, ever so slowly, making its way to fruition. I saw a video, and found the concept of using a lip balm for something other than it's intended purpose, intriguing. So I am recreating the video here.

Zzyzx Exploration | Wanderlust Activated!

Hi ya Gorgeous! 

 

Welcome to today's video which is an inspirational exploration of the Soda Springs area on the opposite side of Death Valley. Yes, it was hot. 

 

 

 

 

I have passed this uniquely named road for YEARS - and never stopped. Then I saw an old youtube video about it and what is at the end of it. Curiosity piqued? Yes! 

It is a hidden gem and oasis. I saw a large herd of big horn sheep. So much wildlife and birds and beautiful diversity in plants. I am so glad I stopped to look even though it was insanely hot. 

 

I encourage you today, what is the one thing you have not done but want to do? Do it!

Part 2 - Walking the Grounds of Belle Mead Plantation - Nashville Tennessee

The Belle Meade experience could not be contained in one video! I had such joy walking around the beautifully manicured grounds of this historic Nashville Tennessee plantation. 

 

 

 

This video introduces the wine and walks you through more of the tour that I took while there. Enjoy this green beauty! It was luscious thick green grass, and limestone hand hewn buildings and just beautiful! Enjoy the video!

The Belle Mead Experience | Wine Wednesday

Hi ya Gorgeous, 

Today I share some experience from the Belle Mead historic site and winery. It's a plantation from back in the day that now is a walk through preservation of life in the beginning of the United States. They call it a sanctuary of southern life. It certainly was full of beauty!

 

It's very large, very green, very muggy hot and very awesome! The website says, "
Belle Meade is dedicated to the preservation of Tennessee’s history, architecture, hospitality, and equestrian legacy.".  I agree! My favorite was the rich horse history and how so many winners were sired through Bonnie Scotland! (see photo below)

 

In this Wine Wednesday with a fanology lesson from the Belle Meade historical site and winery in Nashville Tennessee. I do have some footage to share from the grounds and will post in a separate video. 

 

 

 

 

Oh it was so beautiful, so green, and so so muggy hot, hence, the need for a personal fan. That fan has come in handy many a time now that I am back on the West coast. The wine is from a tasting held on site and there were 4 varietals though I only purchased one.
