Remember, remember the 11th of September

The Tempe Town Lake will have this amazing memorial up through tomorrow, September 11th, and it is the longest running tribute to the heroes of September 11th. Every year volunteers put up nearly 3000 flags and tie yellow ribbons on them. It is more than just a tribute or memorial. It truly is a healing field, hence it's name, The Healing Field.

I strongly encourage you to go visit and most importantly to take your children so they don't forget.

Hello from Big Surf water park in beautiful Tempe Arizona! Summer vacation is in full swing and my family is here for surfing lessons. Yes, surfing in Arizona.
