Kera Health for Women | Hair Growth Vitamin - 30 Day Challenge Starts Now

Yes, you read that right. I am trying another hair growth vitamin. Meet Kera Health.

I have hypothyroid and the Hashimotos auto immune disease is a real beast when it comes to extremely dry skin, brittle nails and hair that falls out a lot! Keeping the Hashi at bay is a full time job! I do take medicine for the low thyroid though I still live with symptoms.  The hair is probably the one that bothers me the most because prior to developing an auto immune disease I had amazing hair! Great nails and skin! Now it's just ravaged by the disease and I'm constantly working towards a healthy balance.

 

 

So I have tried nearly every natural answer and holistic health care possible. Nutrafol was expensive and I'm willing to pay if it works. I didn't notice a texture difference or really experience new growth in the 2 months that I took it.

 

I am now starting the Kera Health hair vitamin though not the shampoo and conditioner or stimulator head gadget. I received this as a sample from their PR agency. It did come with a single packet sample of the shampoo and conditioner. I'm saving that for travel and will let you know later.

 

 Please look at my hair today and be ready to make an assessment in a month! I know I will. I am not taking the Neocell biotin vitamin while I take the Kera Health.

TGIF with Arbonne RE9 Advanced Age Defying Neck Cream

Woo hoo - only 5 weeks and 2 days left of the school year for my son and we are chomping on the bit to get travelin' this summer!

In other news, regarding travel, I am seriously, again, considering cutting bangs!  Oh the decision! It's so important because once you cut, it's going to take a minimum of 6 months or more to grow out again!

I'm also planning a lighter hair color and a bit shorter for the summer too! I want to be beach body cruise ship ready come May!  I'm testing the look and feel of bangs with the HairUWear clip in bangs and I think the color is toast?  Though that lighter brown is what I'm thinking of for the summer. What do you think?

Now, for today's "Am I feelin' it Friday" review of a new product, I have a sample from Arbonne of their RE9 Advanced Age Defying Neck Cream.

Things to know - I love, love, love this brand.  Though I do not love this product.  It's $85.00 for 1.7 ounces.  That's high and usually I don't care if the price is high for a wee tub of miracle cream, if it works.  Though on me, with a full 14 days of consistent day and night use, I am not seeing one bit of difference in the skin texture or firmness on my neck.

Sigh.
So sad.

I totally wanted to love this product.  Arbonne is up against steep competition in this arena as they go up against the heavy weight champ, Strivectin, who makes a pricey neck cream that works well when you use it though when you stop, your skin will return back to it's turkey like state. Ask me how I know.

So, don't take my word for it - get a sample pack from an Arbonne consultant to see if it's a fit for you.  I'm curious if my Hashimoto's disease thyroid medicine had anything to do with the weak results from the use of the neck cream?

Thyroid medicine has been known to have an effect on hair color and other body products!

I am home from the beautiful and exciting Atlanta! I can not describe my level of fatigue and to add to that mix like a cherry on top, I got my blood work tests back today and it's true. My thyroid is off, again!

My doctor recommended changing and upping my dosage of Armor to treat the higher tsh level in my blood.
Seriously?

I just cut my hair and have a new photo to share! I love it long though it was just ravaged by Hashimoto's and thin, brittle, cotton candy like even though for the past 3 months total I have used every hair supplement possible like this Neocell Keratin vitamin and have only heat styled my hair twice in that time!

So new hair, new season and new adventure ahead!
