Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton in a power ponytail NYC; needs a Mia TonyTail to dress it up!

 Hi Ya Gorgeous!
I am such a Kate Middleton fan. I am a huge Diana fan too! I remember when Princess Diana married Charles, I was busy at the Toronto Film Festival and caught a glimpse of a tv screen as often as I could to see the wedding. Oh the pomp and circumstance!

Today, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is in New York City with her husband William on a good will trip and in the dreary coldweather she stepped out in this gorgeous hot pink coat ( yes please, size same as her!) and a power pony tail.

I love it! Kate Middleton rocks that power ponytail with grace. Though it did remind me of the line in the movie Mean Girls, where 'you can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week'. Obviously, the Duchess picked today.

Now meet the Mia Tony Tails!

Hello Gorgeous !
The amazing Christmas season is winding down and now it's time to prepare for a New Year's Eve celebration to bring in the 2012 year!

This photo of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is taken of her on Christmas. I love her wearing the berry tone instead of a traditional red.

The former Kate Middleton who is now the Mrs. Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge always steps out in style-so I am looking forward to seeing what she wears for a New Year's Eve party.
Enjoy this short how to video using the Water for Elephants collection from Avon for Reese Witherspoon's character Marlena.

Products used:
Avon Ever Lasting foundation
Avon Nocturnal Quad eye shadow
Avon Glimmer Sticks in G07
Avon Smokifier eyeliner in Black
Avon Extra lengthening mascara in Black
Avon Super Shock lipgloss in melon
Cheeks are Borghese Spectra bronzer

*Special note-normally I would pop on some false eyelashes-but I never see Kate wearing any! Not even on her wedding day!

Happy New Year's 2012 to you! May it be your best year ever!

Hello gorgeous! Here's a sweet picture of the newly engaged Prince William and Kate Middleton. I did a simple Kate makeup look using the Luminess Air brush makeup system.

I used the foundation, blush, highlighter, and shadows from Luminess Air for the look, but added my own eyeliner, mascara and finishing powder.

I read that Queen Latifah gave the soon to be lady in waiting a bit of advice and that is "to find peace" because from here on out everyone is going to be watching. Nice of Queen Latifah to share don't you think?

De-stress

Hello Gorgeous! Kate Middleton is getting married in a few hours!

Here is a short photo tutorial of a simple bridal look for going from commoner at one moment to
a royal princess in the other!
I'm using primarily all Borghese products in the photos.
The foundation is a mineral powder called Milano in Light by Borghese.

Next I apply my brows with Sophia by Brow Diva.
Then it's onto eyes with Borghese Amalfi Coastal Plums.
The colors are rich and wear really well-plus take great pictures!

The lightest shade in the center is all over the eye and on the brow bone.
Then the right shade, which is a taupe tone is all over the lid and I contour with the left shade which is the darkest.

I'm using my own brushes which are a mix of Smashbox, Arbonne and of course, Brow Diva!

Now, I do not know who is doing Kate Middleton's makeup and hair for the wedding. Let alone what products are being applied-but I'm sure all of the details will come out tomorrow after the ceremony!

Now here is the kicker! I'm using the Milani eyeliner in purple to bring out my green eyes. Kate's eyes look like a sparkly green/blue hazel, soa
purple shade will make them appear more so!

I'm finishing my face with simple blush contouring using Borghese Blush Milano in Rosa Billante.
Of course, I have dusted my face with Makeup Forever HD powder to set everything.
Now if I was truly walking down the aisle at this moment I would reset my makeup with Skindinavia heat proof makeup spray.

I line my lips with a nude liner, and then finish the entire look with Borghese B Moisture lipstick in Pinkissima.
In my opinion, you can never have enough shades of pink lipstick or lipgloss.
The photo you don't see is I have applied a set of false lashes and sealed it with L'Oreal Voluminous
mascara.
So there it is ! The look of or possibly, a bride to be going from commoner to royal in a day!
It reminds me of the Bible story of a nation, Israel, being built in a day! Miracles really do happen! All the time!
Now, the real question is-now that I have all this makeup on-and I pick up Mancub from school...what to do and wear to go?
Enjoy the royal wedding coverage. There is a link at
bottom of this post. It starts at 3 a.m. in the United States. I'm not staying up or getting up for it-but plan to catch it once the coffee is ready at 6.

11 Copy-Worthy Natural Hair and Makeup Looks

Look like you, but better with these natural hair and makeup looks

11 Copy-Worthy Natural Hair and Makeup Looks

This is a TotalBeauty.com natural makeup article

While achieving the ever-elusive natural, no-makeup makeup look seen on celebs takes a bit more effort than rolling out of bed, it does take a heck of a lot less time and effort than a smoky eye or perfecting bold red lips when done correctly.

See tips

Hello dear Gorgeous!
Did you need help getting together products for a simple and affordable Catherine 'Kate' Middleton royal wedding look?

Or maybe you follow Dancing With The Stars like me ( go Chris Jericho! Swing it Kirstie!)

Here I am applying the mineral powder foundation
from Borghese called Powder Milano. It has spf 15!
I love the large angel orbs on my temple-it looks like one of the orbs is holding a teleprompter or a book?
Now in the next photo I am throwing out the wee brush that comes with the blush. Oh! This coral blush is one of the best colors for the 2011 summer!
I prefer a large blush brush-but you use what you are comfortable and if you want to save the brush
for travel or emergency use, so be it!
Now, I like to make a comma shape: the tail is at the temple and I brush the color thicker until it makes a small round head on the apple of my cheek.
I'm getting ready to put my eyeshadow on in a simple, wedding-all be it 'royal wedding'
styled easy eye shadow. I'm using the Borghese
Puccini Plum trio-which is rich in tone and texture-
there are some disposable/travel like tools included in the trio, but I prefer my own brushes.
I'm using the lightest color on my brow bone and along the tear duct area.
Then I use the blue tone on the center of my eyelid along the lash line but no further than the
crease. Finally, that gorgeous purple I run all along the crease and make a diamond shape on the edge of my eye.
In the corner of the eye, I create depth and then run the purple brush load along the lower lash line in a smudgy mark.
I am not wearing an eyeliner in the pictures or video, but to complete the look for a more dramatic effect apply a black, grey or deep purple line in a cat eye fashion on the top and slightly on the bottom.

Finally, I apply the Borghese mascara. Now, as a side note-I am a mascara lover and this is a nice mascara. Yet, alas-I am a die hard fan of L'Oreal Voluminous and that is what you see in the final photos and video.
If you are getting ready for the wedding-consider a water resistant or water proof mascara?

Finally-I finish the whole look with this neat lipstick
from Borghese called "Duale" which is a spf filled lip conditioner with a center made of lip color!
I love it! The perle effect is softening, and it wears really well.
I'm wearing the Borghese Duale in Perle Nudo.

Fantastic! Enjoy this simple Borghese created Kate Middleton Royal Wedding look-or, save it for a Mother's Day brunch!

Hey Gorgeous and Royal Wedding Watchers!
Talk about fun, fun, fun!
Borghese sent some of their amazing Italian cosmetics to the blog for sampling and I'm busy having fun creating looks for the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Not to mention, any of these colors from Borghese could do a Mother's Day brunch justice!
In the video, I'm wearing:
Borghese Powder Milano mineral makeup with spf 15 in Light
Borghese blush in Coral Elettrico
Borghese eye trio in Puccini Plum
Borghese Perla Duale lipcolor in Perla Nudo

plus...I have Sophia from Brow Diva in my brows and my mascara is actually L'Oreal Voluminous though Borghese sent a black mascara. It's nice, just not a big cow flossy lash look like I prefer.

Hello Gorgeous! Enjoy this short video with a simple Kate Middleton inspired look. Some details about the products used:
1. My foundation and the majority of the makeup is Luminess Airbrush makeup system for eyes, cheeks, and foundation
2. Brows are drawn in with Ardell soft black powder
3. L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black
4. Lipstick is #11 by Sante America
5. Finished with powder by Makeup Forever HD microfine powder
Lastly, the video ends abruptly, what I am about to say is "...a day out with the royals.". But what happened is I have 2 cats, a brother and sister. In the video you can see sister Abednego wander around. Brother Shadrach attacks my foot-I didn't holler out but I had to stop immediatly! I apologize! Now enjoy the video!
