Wine Wednesday with Roscato Smooth Blend

Happy Wednesday!
My entire week feels a bit skewed because of the holiday. Don't get me wrong - I loves me some holiday time but then Tuesday feels like Monday and Wednesday feels like Tuesday and on and on until the week resets at Shabbat.

Today, we are detouring from our normal beauty and skincare, fragrance and hair care blog stories to a wine review.

I like trying something new and I found this on the end cap at my local Walmart.  It's good, and I would buy it again.  Enjoy the video!

Meet Mally Beauty "More is More" mascara - Will It Pass the Travel Pack Test?

Hi ya Gorgeous,
Who is back to work after the long holiday weekend? Remember, you don't need one specific day to thank a veteran. Any time you see someone wearing their military veterans hat, be sure you say thank you. Even though the chances are they served 40 years ago, it will make their day!

Now I am definitely back to work and packing and prepping for a trip to southern California at the end of the week. It's all work and some fun squeezed in too! The goal is to get all the film gear packed, the crew gear packed, the necessary HMU and wardrobe for the cast packed and then...leave some room for me! 

In a sideways twist of fate, I have a big toe injury for 4 weeks ago. I knew it would take a long time to heal, but not this long! It's still severely bruised and looks horrible.  I can not wear heels and I always wear high heels! Or boots! Nope. Not now. This entire trip I will have to continue to wear a flip flop shoe! Something open toed to not press on the big toe!

I will have Instagram updates and beauty blog videos created at the trip posted when I get home.

In the meantime, here is a video review of the Mally Beauty More is More mascara. The PR agency had originally reached out about Mallywood, her new line but did not have samples to send, so they sent me some pieces for her old line.

Ironic that I will literally be in Hollywood and at the studios and instead of creating content with the new Mallywood line, I'll have her old highlight trio to show. So stick around for that.

I'm a huge fan of Mally and her products, though this one is funky and really blah on the lashes. I went to her website, http://mallybeauty.com to get a link for you, price and product details and it is not listed. I'm deeply concerned I have a left over sample from last year's Christmas party.

Memorial Day - Remember and Honor

Happy Memorial Day weekend to you!
This day is really important. Like, Fourth of July Independence important in the United States.
Why? What is the significance of this holiday over others?

Because of the sacrifice of life. The saying, "all gave some and some gave all" is so true and we remember on this holiday, the prisoners of war and missing in action as well as those who have died in service to the country. The men and women of the United States military, were doing more than just their job when they went to war.

 They were protecting the freedoms and way of life, the beliefs of a new country and the opportunities that their families would have when their sacrifice resulted in a secure nation.

So, before you enjoy a fabulous barbecue, or if you are on the cruise ship about to hit the buffet, and even in the forest about to rise for coffee from your tent, please take a moment and pray for the families who lost a loved one while in service in the military.

Pray for the safety and security of the USA. Pray for the leadership to have wisdom to lead the country. Pray for those who are active duty military to be blessed and favored of God in their missions. Pray that the loved ones who are hurting from the loss of family to war, are comforted.

Today is a good day to remember the service of our military and then celebrate the good times we enjoy because of it!

Rolling Thunder today in Washington DC - a remembrance for POW/MIA

Oh my prayer for you is that today, you are enjoying your loved ones, good foods and fun!  Though, as all of the good timin' is going on, please remember the reason why we in the United States, have tomorrow set aside, it's known as Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance for everyone who has died serving in the American armed forces. The holiday, originally known as Decoration Day, started after the Civil War to honor the Union and Confederate dead.  It has continued to be honored and celebrated as a way to give remembrance and  honor to the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.

To everyone riding today in Rolling Thunder, be safe, have fun and most importantly,

L'Oreal Lash Paradise - First Impression Friday!

 Who is ready for Memorial Day weekend? Me!  Nope. Not doing a thing. Going anywhere. Nothin' special.Why?

3 reasons. First, my cub is road trippin' with his grandparents. Second, I'm finalizing the million details for the Jael book release and Finding Chupa production. Third, July has so many trips that I've got to keep some cash set aside!  So it's not even a sacrifice to stay home this weekend and I'm really looking forward to the time to get my ducks in a row!
