Last week the latest installment in the Fast and Furious saga was released, simply as, F9. Last night, my family went to see it in the theater and oh my goodness! It is a fast paced, fun, film that is action packed.
There are 24 instances of profanity but there are not the major F bombs as seen in other PG13 films. There are 2 scenes with alcohol in them though little drinking. There is a scene with some scantily clad young women dancing.
There is a LOT of big, loud, noisy, a bit non-nonsensical action where things don't quite make sense, but, it's an action film for fun, not philosopy.
When talking about philosophy this film has a heavy focus on family, trust, and friendships.
Yes, there are some scenes that just don't make sense and yes, if you watch the Fast and Furious saga you will see some dead characters "magically" come back to life.

If you are a mom of boys - this film is for you. It was fun. We were laughing and enjoying the race action scenes. Overall, if you need some entertainment, this is worth the ticket price in my "mother of teenage boy" opinion.
