Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Oil Free Lotion Sunscreen, SPF 30 & The Walking Dead with some San Diego Comic Con thrown in for good measure

 Hello Gorgeous!
I am home from the San Diego Comic Con. Phew. It gets better, and bigger every year. Though I'm beginning to think, that it's on the verge of being too big to keep it's relevancy. What do you think?

So enter the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Oil Free Lotion Sunscreen, spf 30. I used this primarily under my makeup while I toured the many attractions at #SDCC 2014. Now inside is a mad house.  But this is what I am talking about when I speak to all things "too big and too much".

There is the vehicle from the upcoming movie "In to the Storm". Glad to see it. But what does this have to do with comics and comic characters?

XBOX and Evolve were there with their creature. It's awesome. I can see where this has a cross audience appeal, but again, really?

This was worth seeing because I owned this at one point and I agree, the game was bad. After you collected and ate all of the Reese's Pieces, there was no way to win the game. Your E.T. just kept eating and eating and eating!

There is a documentary film coming out later this year detailing what happened at Atari and the why/who/how of 100,000 plus game cartridges being dumped into a landfill in Alamagordo New Mexico.

This Atari E.T video game teaches us about the power of plastic to never, ever disintegrate!

Okay, so now that my rant on the over reach of San Diego Comic Con is over, let me tie up with saying that it was great to be there, exciting and tiring all at the same time and thanks to Hawaiian Tropic for the sample of the sunscreen.

I used it, I was in and out of the buildings and sites, and I did not get burned. It was really hot and muggy during the Comic Con this year.

TheHawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Face Oil Free Lotion Sunscreen, SPF 30 dries down to  semi matte finish and wears well under liquid foundation and mineral foundation without peeling, making deely balls or causing the pigment of the foundation to break up.

I did not break out or find any black heads after using the product. So here's a bit more from the web about the proudct that you can find affordablly and easily at any mass retailer such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart or Target for about $10.00.

EVO keeping me travel beauty prepared!

Hello Gorgeous,

Last week I was in Las Vegas at the Cosmoprof show and I ran into my ol' pals EVO.
Which, as you know-are one of the best natural hair care product lines available!

It was at the show that I picked up a few goodies: such as the travel set which contains these necessities:
Ritual Salvation shampoo, Ritual Salvation Conditioner, Protein Treatment, a body creme and a body wash.
So right for dropping into my trusty Samsonite vanity case and hitting the road!

I also discovered the Helmut full strength hairspray as well as Haze, a styling powder that gives enormous volume while still being moldable/stylable and my favorite the Working Spray. It's like a hairspray with texture that lets you style your hair, and then a few hours later, restyle without a gummy sticky mess.

So, this entire kit went to Anaheim and now is at San Diego and will shortly after that go to Las Vegas.

Because it's EVO and amazing, a lil bit goes a long way and even with long hair like mine, this kit will last 3 trips! And then some!

Get yours and learn more at the evo website!

Worst sunscreen EVER: L'Oreal Advanced Suncare Quick Dry Sheer Finish Spray SPF 50+

Well dear Gorgeous,
You know I am not one to say something negative about a product. But this one just isn't worth the money or the risk!

I wore the L'Oreal Advanced Suncare Quick Dry Sheer Finish Spray SPF 50+
while at the beach in San Diego. I reapplied several times, and look at the sunburn on me.

Maritime Museum: something for #SDCC down time-if you have any!

Hello Gorgeous!
Do you have your 2014 San Diego Comic Con schedule completely full?

If there is an ounce of wiggle room I encourage you to visit the Maritime Museum! It can take anywhere from all day to a half day to just an hour or two to see the new tattoo exhibit in the bottom of the Berkeley.

All photos are me taking pictures of the exhibit on the Berkeley at the Maritime Museum and belong to Kathryn Mussallem.

So why should you go see the tattoo exhibit?
