Happy Valentines Day with Old Fashioned movie-go see it today!

Happy Valentine's Day to you sweet Gorgeous!
As a single gal, I love love love this holiday! It's not even a real holiday, though I love celebrating, LOVE!
Jesus is my Valentine and He loved me before I was even born!

Going forward, to all the loved ones out there, and that means every single one of you: do not be dismayed or disheartened by the fluff and fancy of the superficial "holiday'ness of Valentines day. Hallmark paid dearly for this holdiay but you do not have to participate in taht part of it.

What you can do, is do something wee and encouraging for everyone you love: that means child, Mom, Dad, sister, brother, best friend, neighbor and relatives and coworkers.

I have already sent my cards to those I love! These are not big notions, just wee remembrances and a reminder that I appreciate them.

If you are going on a date with a signifcant other, mate and loved one, please see the Old Fashioned movie.

Right now there is such a push for immorality, abuse, and crimes against women in the very paid promotion efforts for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey.

I'm here to remind you Gorgeous of the scripture that love does not hurt! I'm not saying boycott Fifty Shades of Grey and all of their mainstream porn toys in the Target aisles where your children and teens will see bondage and sex toys for abuse and bestiality, I am merely saying, choose wisely in what you put in front of your eyes!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7New International Version (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I love you! Happy Valentines Day!

National Marriage Week starts now and Yandy.com can help your Valentine's Day

Hi ya Gorgeous,
Today, begins a week long celebration of marriage. In February from the 7th-12th, the National Marriage Week website has free resources for how to strengthen your marriage.

This short and important tip I got from the website: www.nationalmarriageweekusa.org

Tips about the Power of Love and Respect

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs
Research reveals that during marital conflict a husband most often reacts when feeling disrespected and a wife reacts when feeling unloved. We asked 7,000 people this question: When you are in conflict with your spouse or significant other, do you feel unloved or disrespected? 83% of the men said "disrespected." 72% of the women said "unloved."
Though we all need love and respect equally, the felt need differs during conflict. For example, when a woman feels unloved during conflict, her natural reaction is to respond disrespectfully.

And when a husband feels disrespected during conflict, his reaction is to respond unlovingly. We call this the Crazy Cycle: "Without love a wife reacts without respect, and without respect a husband reacts without love."

The message the wife is trying to send in her negative reaction (criticism/contempt) is, "I don't feel loved by you right now." The message the husband hears is, "I don't respect you, buster, unless you change immediately." When he reacts either in anger or by stonewalling, the message the wife hears again is, "I don't love you."

Things get crazy because this feeds itself. Her disrespect feeds his lack of love. His unloving reactions feed her disrespect. Round and round it goes.

The good news is that this cycle can be broken. Isn't this exciting? What couples want is love and respect, and the key to long-term marriages is the attitude and action of love and respect. Quoted from www.loveandrespect.com
