Clara's New York serum layering class with master esthetician Jennifer Adell - skin transformation!

MakeupUniversity was invited to the serum layering class with Clara's New York and master esthetician Jennifer  Adell. I learned so much and am now an avid serum layer'er in my skincare! 

As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and firmness, resulting in wrinkles and fine lines. It's a fact of life that we can't escape, but we can certainly slow down the process with the right skincare products. Clara's New York serums for layering are the perfect solution to maximize anti-aging and hydration to the skin. I had the pleasure of trying out their products, and I have to say, I'm impressed! 

I started my day with the collagen serum layered with the hyaluronic acid serum and moisturized with the Vitamin C creme. The collagen serum is designed to boost collagen production in the skin, which helps to firm and plump up the skin. The hyaluronic acid serum helps to retain moisture, which is essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin. The Vitamin C creme provides an extra dose of hydration and protects the skin from environmental stressors like pollution and UV rays. I loved how light and non-greasy the creme felt on my skin, and it gave me a nice glow that lasted all day.

 

For my nighttime routine, I used the retinol serum, which is my favorite. Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that has been proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and even out skin tone. The retinol serum from Clara's New York is gentle yet effective, and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I layered it with the rose hip oil serum, which is packed with antioxidants that help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Finally, I used the hyaluronic acid moisturizing creme to seal in all the goodness from the serums.

4. Fill the glass with ice and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a mango slice.

Today's challenge is a positive push for you to pull focus on who, where, when, why, what your boundaries really are for you in your life. 

The video shows an example of back in the day, when working with 35 mm film in a camera, you had to measure the distance between the talent and the lens in order to "pull focus" for the scene to be shot clearly. Would you be so kind as to pull focus today on where your boundaries are that are important to you? 

If someone is closer in your life and causing drama, you may need to remeasure and pull focus on the boundary so you can see clearly just how close to you they can be. 

 Same goes for healthy eating - pull focus and keep the foods that cause inflammation and dietary distress far from you. Pull focus on your finances especially when you need to tighten the depth of field for your purchasing power and saving ability!
