As the sunscreen saga continues,today I take a look at the experience I had with the AVEENO Active Naturals continuous protection sunblock lotion for face in SPF 70.

Or as I stated in my last blog, "nearly enough protection to wear on the surface of the sun".

It's a light feel, that has dry touch technology that let's the product absorb quickly into the skin, it is safe for sensitive skin towear, and has been awarded by The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Approval.

Sunscreen madness begins! Remergent

I live in Arizona where it is sunny 11 months out of the year. Some of it is so totally harsh and some of it is sneaky and will burn you when you least expect it.

Sunscreen needs to be worn daily. I know, you may be thinking of " what about blocking out my Vitamin D absorption?". Well, around here, walking from the car to your work place is enough to keep the bones healthy and strong, full of Vitamin D.

For ladies, you need to use sunscreen on your hands otherwise age spots will give away your age. We always focus on the face, though the neck, decollete and hands will give your age away just as fast!

To help you figure out the sunscreen market, I'm going to feature a review each day this week of some products that you may or may not know about.

My experience was good. It held up under a brisk walk to the park with my son in about 90 degrees with direct sunlight. It did have an opaque appearance ( meaning you could see a bit of whiteness when I put it on) that blended in to the skin with some massaging. There is a wee scent though it is very light. It has great slip on the skin and I felt like it was part barrier protection as well as uva/uvb.

Now, here's what makes the Remergent sunscreen different: it prompts the skin to repair itself and self correct which will reduce visible sings of sun damage.
