Happy Good Friday! Eat some fish! Have some unleavened bread! I tell you, Easter is one of my favorite times of year. My top three faves: Christmas, Easter and my birthday. Seriously!

Todays beauty bubble asks such a good question, and I have to say in some cases yes, dieting does harm it. I just finished the VLCD portion of the Dr. Simeons HCG diet as written in the "Pounds and Inches" manual. It made my skin so dry and chapped that my knuckles and cuticles cracked and bled. My hair became a bit dry and brittle and there were dry flaky patches on my face. Nice.

On the flip side of that, I understand that Dr. Perricone is right about the eat salmon diet and making the skin more youthful and supple. Fish oil is good for you and moisturizes skin from the inside out. Combine that with lots of water and you are one good lookin' gal!

Anti-oxidant loaded foods are good for the hair, skin and nails. Lots of colorful fruits and veggies with some lean protein should keep you healthy looking!

I know that right now the P3 stage for me is challenging; going from very low calorie days back to 2000 has me curious about what to eat! And when!

Ah, that's why they call it a 'process'.
