Holiday season is upon us ready or not!
You get to choose where and what you spend your money on for gifts whether for yourself,
family, friends or charity. Though this Holiday 2011 season you can get some new makeup and nail polish while also sharing some charitable
holiday cheer.

This set from Lancome is a 3 pc face powder, red lipstick and nail
polish in vibrant red and the proceeds from the sale of the trio
are shared with the Golden Hat Foundation whose ambassadress
is actress Kate Winslet. She became involved after watching "A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism" with her daughter. When Ms. Winslet's daughter asked what it would be like if she couldn't talk to her, it stirred Kate to action. See the whole story here. Get your Golden Hat Lancome trio here! Gorgeous!

I would also like to share a guest blog spot by friend, mom, business woman and entrepreneur Laura Wintemute. She shares a short post about raising a son with autism. The full is story is on the link below. So when you purchase your limited edition Golden Hat beauty trio from Lancome, know that you are impacting children-like Taylor!

I am one of the lucky ones; my son is high functioning. He can tell me he loves me, hold my hand or give me kisses. Some days he is just like any other kid. And other days are hard, so very hard. His mind is brilliant, his smile and laughter are amazing; but his frustration is unbearable and I know we’re at the point where others can tell something is different. I fear everything- will he ever truly be independent? What if something happens to me, who will take care of him? But to him I can never show my worry, and holding it together might be the hardest thing for both of us.
