Hello Gorgeous!
Happy April Fools Day!
Happy ACM award show day too!

Right now in Las Vegas Nevada the country music stars are
getting ready for tonight's award show and this beautiful
young lady, Kimberly Perry is up for an ACM award with her
2 brothers and their band called The Band Perry.

I think she is super cute and made a award show look video.

I used a mix of Mally makeup-and super congratulations to Mally Makeup and the 7th anniversary of the brand.

Now these 3 Mally Evercolor shadow sticks are the stars of my how to video. I'm using Champagne, Taupe and
Angel Shimmer. Something to note: these are not billed
as being 'waterproof'-but I am here to tell you-these shadows do NOT budge!

I wish I had the Mally foundation but alas I do not-so instead I am using the Laura Mercier Oil Free Supreme foundation which is amazing for wear, photographs and giving a great matte finish.

If you have oily skin-it's a great foundation-so get to Nordstrom's and get some!

Now onto the video and remember to watch the ACM awards hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton on CBS.

Hello Gorgeous!
It's almost time for the ACM awards show hosted
by country music star Reba McEntire.

The show is held in Las Vegas and can be seen on CBS.

I've got my Reba look on using Mally City Chick Smolders
in Chocolate.

This is the Mally eyeshadow set that I'm using to get the ACM awards Reba look-and that very first (on the far left) tin is full of a light creme concealer that can be used to prime your lid for shadows and also conceal any dark circles!

The shadows are a semi-sheen-so not too matte and not too sparkly!

Enjoy the short how to video and I don't have the Mally skin foundation, so instead I am wearing one of my new favorite foundations from Laura Mercier-it's the Oil Free Supreme.

Skin: Obagi Exfoderm lotion
Foundation: Laura Mercier Oil free supreme in warm ivory
Eyes/Lips/Cheeks Mally City Chick Smolders in Chocolate and the More Perfect Palette blush
The lipgloss is Mally Blossom
Mascara: Avon Super Shock Max

Reese Witherspoon stood classically beautiful in the nation’s Capital on Tuesday, where she attended an event in honor of International Women’s Day.

Her makeup was done by mark makeup artist Mai Quynh using products from both Avon and mark. Mai put the focus on Reese’s eyes, layering a shimmering gold shadow over a soft blend of neutral-colored shadows.

Mai then upped the drama by using a dark eyeshadow as liner and a few swipes of black mascara on lashes. For the finishing touches, Mai applied a soft rose cream blush on Reese’s cheeks and a nude-colored lipstick to enhance Reese’s natural glow.

*In the photo of Reese Witherspoon on this post she is wearing:
EYES:

· i-mark Metallic Eye Shadow in Goldi Luxe ($6.00)

· i-mark Eye Shadow in Tiki ($6.00)

· i-mark Eye Shadow in Java ($6.00)

· Avon SuperExtend Extreme Mascara ($9.00)

LIPS:

· Shine Attract Lipstick in Nude Love ($9.00)

FACE:

· Avon True Color Blush in Earthen Rose ($8.00)

TotalBeauty.com
1-Minute Tricks for Your Best Smile Ever

Brush, floss, rinse, repeat. Sure you know how to keep up your dental hygiene, but these tricks will up the ante and get your smile brighter instantly

1-Minute Tricks for Your Best Smile Ever

This is a TotalBeauty.com women's dental health article

If you don't have time or the money for an in-office teeth whitening, you'll love these 8 genius tricks that'll make your smile brighter in a hot second. See them now.

Get brighter

Hello Gorgeous!
On February 17th a new Reese Witherspoon movie was released called "This Means War" with Chris Pine as one of her co-stars.

I have not seen the movie, along with I have not seen War Horse or Chronicle, or The Vow or Journey 2. Why? Long story-ask me later.

In the meantime I have seen the trailer online and it does seem funny?

So I have created a Reese Witherspoon's This Means War character named Lauren.
To get the look I used all AVON products and the details are listed here:

Foundation: Avon Extra Lasting in Buff
Blush: Crushed Berry creme stick-so awesome
Brows: Glimmersticks soft black brow definer
Eyes: True Color Romantic Mauves
Mascara: Super Extend in black (the sample sent was Super Shock in waterproof brown-just not something I would ever use, but the brush is a hard rubber kind)

Now: here is the shining star of the Avon products used to create the Lauren character look for Reese Witherspoon in This Means War.

This lipstick is by Avon, called a Shine Attract and I'm wearing the color Rose Pink.
It's part gel lipstick part firm gloss? Makeup Alley reviews are not very good for it-but I love it!
Just a hint of color but alot of shine, very smooth on the mouth. I am not tasting or smelling any strong chemicals as what was stated on the Makeup Alley reviews? Basically-I think it's a perfect day time answer to a little bit of lip color and a lot of shine!
