Wow. Wow. Wow.
I've been out and about lately and not keeping my proverbial thumb on what's hot n'happenin' but these images coming out of NYFW. Yes Ma'am to most of it!
Except the crystal beard. I'm not about that. Who ever had that idea - knew how to make a fashion statement!
I am ALL about Pat McGrath and the fabulous fantastic fantasy out of this world lashes! Lots of statement lashes in size and color. You know I loves me some navy blue mascara! Or plum toned mascara! Or forest green mascara! What I don't love is neon mascara --- all over --- only on the tips and outer corners of the lash for me when it comes to wearing neon colors on lashes!
Now when it came to actual wearable clothes for the everyday lady like me, I saw these looks on the Teen Vogue page of coverage while I was looking for images and I must say, I'm really liking the comeback of leather clothes - pants, skirts and dresses and fingers crossed this is faux leather - like, pleather baby!
Anything green gets my vote and is quite possibly my color of all time! I'm loving the full swingy A line skirt, the dress and that pantsuit, in grey, with a shirt please!
But the real story is Rihanna and Fenty. Whoa.
Keep your eyes on what this line is doing next in the world of women's lingerie and Victoria's Secret better be on notice that their market share just got snatched!
Word is, there will be a replay of this show on Amazon Prime and I think it's something I plan to tune in for. It's not just the panty fashion, it's the performances.
Plus the variety of women sizes that were models. I've read that women of all sizes and colors were included and that is what intrigues me. Finally. Thank you Rihanna. I can't be the only one who wants to see real women represented and not just the same stick thin model like in a Victoria's Secret fashion show. I watched half of one once and that was enough for the lifetime.
So cheers to RiRi and cheers to the Fenty launch into fashion!
