We can't get enough of Gwen, whether we're singing along to her tracks or coveting her creative looks. She bounces from punk rocker to glamour chick with an ease we try to emulate, but nobody does it quite like she can. Check out her many different (very blonde) hairstyles.

I really enjoy the style of Gwen Stefani. If you do too, go ahead and click through on today's total beauty bit!

What I wanted to talk with you about today is making the most of your mascara. True, not all brands are alike; yet, you can get more out of the one you choose by a simple addition or two!

1. Mascara spoils easily, expect to buy a new one every 6-8 weeks, kind of like getting highlights done. If you are buying a brand in a price range that doesn't allow you to buy it that often, it would be better to get something that costs less and change it more often than to hold onto the expensive tube until the label wears off and you can no longer read what brand it is.

2. Curl your lashes before you apply your mascara. Remember to choose the metal one and heat it with your hair dryer for a few seconds to get a tighter curl on your lashes.

3. Powder your lashes heavily to make them fuller and longer. Use transparent face powder and dust your lashes til they appear like you've been hit with a puff full of flour! Now apply the mascara over it and the powder will adhere to the lashes and the mascara to the powder and the result is you have fuller longer lashes with out addding another product.

4. Finally, if you would like to add another product, consider a lash fortifying and growing product such as Talika Lipocils, or; I may be able to recommend Lash Food. I'm talking with them now about sampling it and getting some results feedback.

Which means in the meantime...I can't use my Talika....so we shall see.

Enjoy the beauty bit and see you in the workshop!
