Find out what products to splurge on and when to save your hard-earned dollars |
You don't have to spend half your paycheck on skincare products to stay wrinkle and pimple-free. That said, slathering household condiments on your face to avoid paying for the good stuff isn't necessary either. Dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban and P&G scientist Mary Begovic Johnson helped us compare products with similar ingredients that are very different in cost. Here's what we found. |
You possibly are seeing bright yellows and coral oranges in clothing, shoes and makeup. No worries! You too can wear this! The secret is one piece at a time.
Yellow skirt with black top works. Yellow shoes with jeans and a multi print shirt works! Yellow eye shadow through the crease with a soft shimmer pale beige, works!
The coral is going to look better the more tan you are. Try using the slow tanners such as Dove Energy Glow or for your face use Jergens Natural Glow foam.
Coral gloss with nude liner is perfect for day or with deep black kohl liner to go out in.
Remember, to add pieces that are trendy, buy the least expensive kind so in two months when it is out of style it doesn’t hurt to pass it to the Salvation Army. I like N.Y.C., Rimmel, even Wet-n-Wild brands for adding a current trend color at a budget respecting price.
For clothes, pick up some Taylor Swift with R.E.I. at Walmart or the Issac Mizrahi at Target and right now on sale at Payless are a great pair of bright yellow patent flats, which are so summer ready!
Finally, if all this yellow and coral scare you, why not put it on a pedicure where a toe or two peep out of your shoes?
