Remember September 11th and the lives lost

Today is a sad day to be noted in history as it is at this time, on September 11th, 2001 that the Twin Towers in New York City were attacked by terrorists by flying into them.

There is a memorial site in New York City. For those of us who are not able to make it there, please take a moment of silence for those who lost their lives, gave their lives while trying to rescue, and those that survived.

9/11 in memory visit Tempe, AZ Healing Field at Mill Ave & Rio Salado Pkwy

I will never forget where I was when I found out that the Twin Towers of New York City had been attacked. I was in Kona Hawaii at the time. It changed the entire day, the event I was attending, flying home to Arizona and it has never been the same or ever will be.
Tempe Arizona in the grass area of the Tempe Beach Park has a beautiful memorial called the Healing Fields that they set up for honoring the lost lives on September 11th, 2001.
You can take the lightrail to the Mill Ave. exit, or park in the garages near by and walk to see the exhibit. This post is dedicated to all of the first responders, families and survivors of the Setpember 11th, 2001 attack. God bless you.
