Hello fashionistas and beauty queens! Okay, I have found something that may intrigue you because you can save money, save time, and did I mention save some money?
I have for some time now touched up my color at home and I have tried a variety of at home hair colorants. Usually whatever is on sale or has a coupon in the Sunday paper. I settled on a glossing color from L'Oreal as a favorite, though I know many a lady who loves the Feria line by L'Oreal.

So I was intrigued when I got the chance to
test the U Color by Umberto.

I recognize the salon name from the Beverly Hills hair salons. Yes, Umberto is a well recognized and trusted name in hair care in the celebrity style laden Southern California.

Umberto created an at home hair color for ladies who want salon results but no longer have the salon visit in their budget.
U Color is a one step sachet packet system of color, developer and equalizer and it's all in a ready to use system which makes it fool proof. Now I didn't say goof proof, but fool proof. There are 24 shades to choose from at Ulta or online.

I folded the packet, snipped off the ends on the perforation and then began to smoosh it into my hair. Now in the photo on the left you can see the finished color. It's a bit red for me? I think if I was picking out my own color I would have gone a shade darker. Alas, it smells good, feels good, my hair is in good condition and the real test is in two weeks to see how this holds up because the instructions say that there will not be a demarcation line where the color was applied and also that the ends of hair won't grab color and build up.

Which that was the challenge before I started...light roots, dark ends and no amount of timing and mixing seemed to even it up!

So far, my experience is really good so I feel safe in recomending the U Color to you. Plus, there are 2 packets per $12 box. One sachet packet covered all of my hair...so I'm thinking this is coming out to $6 per application! Booya! Money saved!
