Hello Gorgeous!
Whoa. Hold up. Where did the month of March go? One wee week left! My son and I are home from spring break and many other school kids are out on their vacations this week. I'm so glad to be home though it is just a quick turnaround for me as I have an event in Las Vegas this weekend.
I've got some beauty goodies to go with me from the ULTA Beauty 21 Days of Beauty Spring edition!
Meet the Bare Minerals Bare Tutorials bronze smoky eyes 5 piece collection!
I love a kit and I'm new to this brand, and so far so good! I received a gloss sample at the Ipsy Generation Beauty event last year and really liked it.
I'm really curious about the liquid foundation that Bare Minerals makes because I'm not a big fan of powdered mineral makeup on me, but a liquid mineral foundation I could get into!
Inside the Bare Minerals Bare Tutorials bronze smoky eyes kit are 3 shadows, a dual ended eye shadow brush and a sample of the Lash Domination mascara.
There is a step by step instruction guide in the kit, though I decided to just play. I start by applying the lightest shade, Queen Phyllis matte eye color on to the brow bone.
I tap the powder shadow into the lid and then pick up with the large side of the eye shadow brush.
I move to the lid color, Iced Coffee, and apply it all over the lid. I'm using a pat and press motion to press the makeup into my eye skin and shadow primer.
These are really easy to blend shadows, and I had very little fallout onto my cheek.
Time to use the contour end of the brush duo and pick up the darkest shade in the kit called Bronze Ambition.
I work Bronze Ambition into the crease of my eyelid and then circle around a bit to the lower lash line and make a smudgy eyeliner with the shadow.
Now, I use my own slant tip brush to pick up the Bronze Ambition dark eye shadow and use it to fill in my eyebrows.
I like to draw my eyebrows on in different shades and styles and this mineral eye shadow was great at hugging the eye brow hair.
Time to try the Bare Minerals Lash Dominion mascara. I love the brush and the formulation.
The mascara held up really well under the Arizona heat, some wind, some running and a few glasses of wine. This is definitely a mascara I would buy.
All done! Day smoky eye makeup on from the ULTA Beauty 21 Days of Beauty spring edition with Bare Minerals Bronze Smoky Eye tutorial kit!
