Though Pinterest is the Mecca for beauty inspiration, recreating and wearing those looks takes a lot more effort than it takes to re-pin. Some require a boatload of products and the steady hand of a fine artist, but others are totally doable -- especially with the expert help of our beauty guru, Cinya. From dewy skin to bold brows, see the tips you need to nail these looks now.

Hi Gorgeous! Today I want to share a hair and makeup with fragrance round up of Halle Berry and her role in the movie Cloud Atlas. If you haven't seen it, please do! It's worth it!

I'm a fan of Ms. Berry's work, and her time as the a Revlon spokeswoman along with her fragrances with Coty.

For the premiere of Halle's new film Cloud Atlas, makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua reached for two different brands of makeup: Chanel and Revlon. Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara ($34, available November 2012) drew attention to Halle's eyes, which were further emphasized by Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow in Siren ($7). "I created an eye look with blended charcoals and shimmery silvers to complement the silver colors in [her] dress," Bua said.

Now take a look at these images from the movie of the transformations of Halle Berry and Tom Hanks for their multiple roles and characters. I love the makeup artistry and hair changes! I have posted a link below from an interview article in the LA Times with the makeup artists from the movie. Click over, it's a great read!

This retails between $15-$30 and keep your eyes open for gift with purchase sets as the holiday sales season is now in full swing. Or so says Walmart  since their Black Friday ad showed up on last Thursday!

I really like the scent, but then again, I think I like almost everything the Coty perfume house makes!
To me it's a bold spicey floral-perfect!
Here's some notes about the scent:
###
This concept embodies the notion that a woman knows what a man wants. It is what the sexiest man wants to smell and what the sexiest woman smells like.
A shared connection in which each partner is an equal part and participant.
When a man and a woman get this close, where does one stop and the other begin?
  • An alluring fougere* accord wrapped in a sexy blend of mimosa and violet flowers.
  • The trail of precious woods and rich warmth creates an intriguing sensation of bold sensuality.

But since no one gets excited about drinking a tall glass of water, we turned to nutritionists and healthy-eating experts to get the skinny on the best actual diet drinks out there. Here are the experts' picks for the diet-friendly, nutrient-packed drinks that won't sabotage your healthy-eating ways.

Hi Gorgeous!
I have found a good thing as seen on the Dr. Oz show. My favorite out of all the products that I tried is the Seabuck Wonders Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil-it just tastes good and I like that it is called the 'intensive cellular care' product.

These products are organic and kosher. Great for gift giving and getting! There was so much to learn and share about each product, that I figured it was best to post from the website the specific details about each product.

I also did a short video review which you will find at the end of the blog post. As we are going into a weather change plus a busy holiday season, I suggest you get some Seabuck Wonders soft gels or oil today! Visit the online store locator, Whole foods or order online!

The SeabuckWonders Difference

SeabuckWonders products are made of sea buckthorn oils ONLY from the Tibetan Plateau. This is where high altitude, strong ultraviolet radiation, severe cold, scorching heat, and dry and barren soil have equipped the remarkable sea buckthorn plant with an extraordinary bio-defense mechanism that breeds substantial life-giving nutrients for enhancing health and beauty.

The Tibetan local green environment makes our sea buckthorn oils amazingly pure, naturally boosting the content of essential fatty acids and Vitamin E over other varieties. The SeabuckWonders supercritical fluid extraction process in one of the most advanced facilities makes our sea buckthorn oils the best in quality. The fact that our products are certified organic, provides our customers with even more confidence that SeabuckWonders is the finest brand of Sea Buckthorn products around the globe! (Find out more about what makes SeabuckWonders stand out)
*Special note and newsflash to clarify my curiosity about the color of the product: and I quote the information from the company spokesperson "the orange color of our products....it's the the "natural, essential oils" that gives it the color, its the actual sea buckthorn berry! And that's important because when you compare our skin care products to our biggest competitor (Sibu) you can tell our product has a much higher concentration of sea buckthorn because of the color (Sibu's is almost white)...which makes our product superior (even though it's not priced higher than Sibu!! :) And the higher concentration produces more dramatic results...." Well, that answers it for me! Remember: you are beautiful! Thank you for visiting the blog and check back for promotions and beauty giveaways!

Omega 3 Water: natural health defender for busy holiday season

TotalBeauty.com
Beauty Showdown: Salon vs. At-Home Treatments

We all want to save a little dough -- but not all DIY beauty treatments are as good as their salon counterparts. See the treatments you can do at home and the ones better left to the pros

Beauty Showdown: Salon vs. At-Home Treatments

This is a TotalBeauty.com health and beauty article

These days, it seems every beauty brand has hopped on the at-home express. DIY gel manicures, chemical peels, and keratin treatments --everything has a do-it-at-home alternative. And though waxing in the privacy of your own home may sound appealing, the end result could be embarrassing and painful. So we put all of the new treatments to the test to see which boxed kits were worth buying -- and which were flops.

And the winners are …

Hey Gorgeous! How can you keep a steady flow of healthy nutrients into your body while taking care of your jam packed family life and schedule on top of work and extra curricular commitments? Easy-try drinking them! I have sampled the two flavors of Omega 3 Water and can honestly say that both are delicious. Truly, there is no fishy taste because the Omega-3 is a vegetarian source of flax seeds. If you are in the south east United States you can fined Omega 3 Water in Ingles super markets and for the rest of us, shop on Amazon or eBay. It's already the second week of November, and now is the time to start boosting your immune system because the holiday season will only get busier from here forward! Cheers to your health!
Omaga 3 Water - Orange
Omega-3 is important for human health. Your body, however, does not produce it naturally. Many Americans do not get enough in their diets. Research shows that Omega-3 helps keep your heart healthy. The more you learn about Omega-3, the more you will realize its benefits to help you and your family live a healthier life. Let Omega-3 change your life and give you a better chance to live a longer, younger healthier life. Omega3WaterTM is suitable for all ages, child to adult.

NYFW to Mercedes Benz fashion week with Talia for Laura Mercier

Get the Look Gorgeous! This is a bold look that peeks into the future of spring break 2013-but wait! This strong eye is in my humble opinion a total party look for holiday season! Just read and enjoy! You can thank me later!

Jenny Packham: Spring/Summer 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Look created by Talia Shobrook for Laura Mercier

Talia Shobrook, lead makeup artist for this season’s Jenny Packham show, complemented the red carpet designer’s “chic yet playful” collection to develop a makeup look that was a fresh, modern take on “1960s Las Vegas glamour.” According to Shobrook, the end result was “dewy skin and soft coral lips framed by jewel-like eyes with long, fluttery lashes.”

Face: “Dewy skin” was key to keeping this look fresh and modern.
• Talia first applied Laura Mercier Oil-Free Day Lotion SPF 15 ($95) and Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Hydrating ($32) to prep the skin and create an even canvas for makeup application.

• She then applied Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme Foundation ($43) all over the face, and concealed problem areas with Laura Mercier Secret Concealer ($22) and Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage ($30).

• To highlight the contours of the face and give the skin a healthy glow, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 – Illuminating ($43) was applied to the forehead, nose, chin and cheekbones.

• Talia contour the cheekbones using Laura Mercier Bronzing Pressed Powder in Dune Bronze ($32). She then applied and blended Laura Mercier Gel Lip Colour in Hibiscus Bloom ($22) to the apples of the cheeks. Eyes: Talia used various shades of blues to create flirty, “jewel-like” eyes.

 • Talia first gently pulled up the eyelid at the brow and applied Laura Mercier Eye Pencil in Midnight Bleu ($20) straight across the lid, starting just below the lid’s crease and extending slightly beyond the outside corner of the eye.

• Using the same eye pencil, she then filled in the area of the lid below the line and repeated the steps using Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Turquoise ($20). Talia gently pressed a layer of Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour in Lagoon ($22) over the liner to set it.

• With a dome-shaped brush, she then applied Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Platinum ($22) from above the crease of the eye to the brow bone.

• In addition, NEW Laura Mercier Artist Luxe Liquid Liner ($125) (available October 2012) was applied to the lash line. • Talia finished the dramatic look by applying a coat of Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara ($24) and then applying Laura Mercier Full Faux Eyelashes ($18). Lips: Talia layered several products to create an updated version of the “coral pastel lip that was favored by women in the ‘60s.”

• Talia used a lip brush to apply Laura Mercier Crème Lip Colour in Tangerine ($24) along the top and bottom lips. She then applied Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Baby Lips ($20).

• Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF – Illuminating ($43) was applied to add dimension and shine, and the lips were set with Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder ($35).
