Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day - A Chance To Reflect

Hi ya Gorgeous,
Happy Monday to you. If you have been around MakeupUniversity for any amount of time, you know that I loves me a Monday! Today is extra special because it's a day of remembrance for Dr Martin Luther King Jr - a man who held firm to his beliefs and convictions in the face of tragedy and obstacles. Then, he overcame them.

Some of you may have the day off and some of you may be at work - no matter where you are, take a moment and do a search for the top quotes of Dr King.  In his short life -he accomplished a lot of good and left a legacy to be proud of.

Here are some of my favorites!

1. "Faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase." 
2.  "There comes a time when silence is betrayal." 
3. "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." 
4. "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
