TIFF hair you can wear with Nexxus, Reese and Lona Vigi

 Hi ya Gorgeous!
It has been quite some time since I have been to the Toronto Film Festival in person to see the films. I recall really enjoying the beauty of the city and people.

Today I have a style "how to" for you to help get your hair in red carpet style!
###

Nexxus New York Salon Care Celebrity Stylist Lona Vigi crafted this award-winning actress’s beautiful voluminous hair look as she graced the red carpet for the premiere of her new animated movie “Sing,” at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday. “Since it was a kids movie premiere that was during the day, Reese and I decided to keep her hair down, flowy and fun for the occasion, and to flawlessly complement her off-the-shoulder dress” said Lona.

Follow Lona’s tips to re-create this look:
  1. Starting with towel-dried hair, apply a palm sized amount of Nexxus New York Salon Care Mousse Plus Volumizing Foam from roots to ends to weightless support the style and add volume.
  2. Create a deep side part, then divide hair into sections and blow dry using a medium-sized round brush to add body.
  3. Once dried, use a double barrel iron to add curls and alternate with a 1.5” curling iron every couple of curls to create effortless, undone waves.
  4. Finish with the Nexxus New York Salon Care Comb Thru Finishing Mist and spray all over hair to provide natural, movable hold.

butter LONDON for Toronto International Film Festival and events happening everywhere

Good morning Gorgeous!

Keep your strength up-this is going to be a busy week with the Fall event season ramping up and the awards season starting with the Toronto Film Festival.

It's been years since I attended. One thing I wanted to highlight from this years TIFF, is the blossoming children's film series. It's outstanding. The best talent really goes all out with phenomenal movies geared towards children.

Now, before you go down to my fave kids movie "Believe" from this year's TIFF, here's a wee product highlight to wear to your next film festival red carpet or fancy schmancy event!

I love butter LONDON. They are known for nail lacquers that are "3 FREE" meaning no bad stuff like tolulene, formaldehyde or no DBP (dibutyl phthalate).

They now make WINK a partner to LIPPY, the line of cosmetics that are healthy for your skin also.

I received samples of Union Jack Black Wink color mascara $20.00, Black Cherry Lippy tinted balm, $18.00 and Pistol Pink Wink cream eye shadow $20.00

If you can make it to the butter LONDON Rock Over tour - do it! Find a store here: link to fun

Now that you know what makeup look you would and will be wearing, let's learn a bit more about the movie Believe directed by David Scheinnman which was shown at TIFF.

When Sir Matt Busby (based on the legendary, real-life manager of Manchester United) tracks Georgie down after the boy attempts to steal his wallet, he discovers Georgie’s talent and comes out of retirement to coach him and his group of neighbourhood friends as they prepare to compete in the Manchester Junior Cup. As the big game approaches, Georgie faces challenges as he attempts to balance his school priorities with his love of soccer, and learns to be true to himself without letting down his family and friends.
