A DIY Manicure That Will Actually Last?

This is a TotalBeauty.com nails article

Gel nail polish is all the rage … and for good reason. It not only gives your nails a sleek shine, but it also lasts longer than traditional polish, keeping chips and cracks at bay for up to two weeks. But perfection comes with a price and frequent trips to a manicurist can quickly add up. That's why we tried out the Sally Hansen at-home gel manicure kit to see if it's possible to get a salon-worthy manicure at home. Is it worth the effort? Click through to find out!

Readers say these seven powders do none of the above. Check out this list before falling prey to another disappointing product.

Hello Gorgeous! Oh-it's that time alright. It's already pre-holiday season retail according to my local Costco due to the fact that there are halloween costumes on one side of the aisle and Christmas wrapping paper on the other. So to keep in step, here is your first fragrance holiday round up series!

Beyonce Midnight Heat is another winner in her line of perfumes, and it's available at mass retailers everywhere and sells in price ranging from $33 to $59 depending on where you buy and what size.

Halle Berry has a new scent in Closer which sells for about $35, and is available as of September 2012. Perfumer Jacques Cavallier combined unusual contrasts of sensual and feminine notes and classical masculine fougere accords in this composition. The result is a modern feminine floral - woody - fougere fragrance. It opens with accords of ozone, wild raspberry and water lily. The heart includes mimosa, the actress’ favorite flower, along with violet, cedar and fougere accord. Vanilla pod, mahogany, cashmere and musk in the base form a lingering trail. (fragrance notes from www.fragrantica.com)

Playboy VIP-another scent in the Playboy line of fragrances-it definitely is a younger scent and would appeal to a college demographic. It opens with accords of nectarines and peony, with apple, red fruits and vanilla flower in the heart and the base made of cashmere, sandalwood and musk (fragrance notes from www.fragrantica.com) It sells in the $20 range.

Now the Krigler OUD for Highness 75 can be purchased online or at The Plaza in New York. A 3.4 oz bottle is $505.00. Custom Made fragrance created in 1975. Joining again the collection in 2010. Oud For Highness 75 has been created in honor of its Royal Highness of Jordan combining Crushed Royal Asian Oud, Amber, Sandalwood, Saffron and Honey.

Combining cultures and traditions, this fragrance is a Royal testimony to Oud. (notes information from www.krigler.com)
