The Best Skin Care Routine For Your Age

If you're still using the same harsh cleanser from your high school days, it's time to rethink your skincare routine

The Best Skin Care Routine For Your Age

This is a TotalBeauty.com skin care article

When it comes to a skincare routine, many of us stick with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude. Trying several new products on our skin runs the risk bad results, like breakouts, dryness, and redness. But what worked for your skin at age 13 isn't necessarily what's best for you skin in your 20s, 30s, and 40s. We talked to New York dermatologist Heidi Waldorf, MD, and Olga Lorencin, esthetician and co-owner of Kinara Spa in Los Angeles. They filled us in on which skin products are the best for you in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. Check out their tips for getting the best complexion at every age.

Boots No 7: for prom makeup looks and beyond

Hello Purty!
Prom makeup on your mind? Prom budget even more on your mind? Boots No 7 is a great line of cosmetics with a lot to offer with some "good for your skin" benefits included.
I took a simple trio of Boots No 7 foundation, Fanomenal mascara and lipstick in Bare to my Easter weekend vacation.

What I liked best about:
Foundation: high sunscreen, smooth application, long wearing.
Mascara: duck foot applicator will make a believer out of you for how the formulation can give full lashes
Lipstick: beautiful natural long wearing color with good moisturization

So, my Boots No 7 vacation makeup can also be your destination wedding makeup or special prom occasion because it's available at Ulta stores, online and Walgreens and the prices are under $20.

Good Housekeeping gave the brand a seal of approval as did the tv show The Doctors. I recommend going to Ulta or Walgreen's to select a shade of foundation because viewing the colors online can be difficult to choose a correct shade/tone for your skin.

What do you think? Have you tried Boots No7 yet?

Well hello gorgeous! Welcome to your weekend! I hope it is going amazing for you!

In the photo there are two new products by Neutrogena that I have recently tested. There is a short video for you below, but before you enjoy it I would like to share a few thoughts!

1. I really liked the bronzer-perfect for a beach bag on the go, a great addition to a prom look and also would work wonders tucked into your everyday beauty bag you keep in your purse. 2. The foundation-it could be me and my skin because if I'm not in the sun sweating I'm in the pool filled with chlorine. So, that said, I do like the high spf on this creamy foundation that gives a light sheer coverage. Enjoy the video to find out what else happened in the testing of this product!

Shapeez winner announced! Plus Thank God it's Friday!

Hello Gorgeous! Thank God it's Friday! I love the weekend and there is much a foot and fancy for me these next few days; so this cat photo pretty much sums up how I feel!

So let's get down to brass tacks and business:

1. Congrats to the Shapeez winner from this week's blog giveaway-you know who you are because you got the email from me saying pick your product. Enjoy it hunny!

Next...
The very beautiful, graceful, and timeless beauty Elizabeth Taylor has gone on to Glory. Wow, she was such a class act! She never stopped loving, was a true friend, took risks, and left behind her a living legacy and body of work. I have a gift set of her fragrance White Diamonds that the blog received this Christmas and now I don't want to use it-feels like a collectors item! It smells so good too!

Finally-in the greater Phoenix area I have 3 in store prom makeup demonstrations that are free for ladies who need some beauty and style help. Stay tuned for exact times...

Also, I have room on the schedule for 2 more prom clients-so if you are looking for a flawless airbrushed makeup application for this high school memory maker, please email me for dates and rates.

Now, as for the rest of you...I appreciate your support and I'll see you around Phoenix sometimes soon! Wear sunscreen!
