Fourth of July travel beauty with Bare Minerals from 2014 Generation Beauty YouTube Space L.A. party

Hello Gorgeous!
How many of you are on the road for the Fourth of July celebrations this weekend? My family and I are on the road too! Be safe driving out there!

Now I have brought along the road some travel beauty samples from the 2014 Generation Beauty YouTube Space L.A. event I attended last month.

Say hello to Bare Minerals samples.

So I have had these for a month and have just recently tried them. I've got to admit that I in the past have not been the biggest Bare Minerals fan. But, some of these products have changed my mind. Let's meet them!

Last year I did get a sample of the Marvelous Moxie lip gloss and really liked it. This year I got another Marvelous Moxie lip gloss (left in photo) in Party Starter. It's smooth on the lip, doesn't pill and lasts with what feels like a lil bit of oomphy lip plumping effect.

The other color on my hand is a lipstick in the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie line called Never Say Never. The color is bold, the feel is buttery and the wear is good. The package is awful and worth wanting to run over this lipstick in the desert and not look back. It has a wee silver lock/twist thingy. I suspect this is to keep the lipstick cap from coming off in your purse. Great try, but fail.

Next up, meet the Bare Minerals Prime Time BB Primer-Cream in medium with a spf of 30. This product is a star. I would buy this. It does have a silicone base to it, hence why it goes on super silky powdery wonderful.
There is just a hint of color, but the spf 30 redeems that factor. The instructions say use one pump. Well, maybe if you are an infant one pump will cover your entire face. I needed 3 pumps, one per side and through the center. I love the finish. The true test is in a day or two: will I get a pimple or blocked pore/blackheads from the silicone mask?
I do not have Bare Minerals foundation. I saw at the YouTube Space L.A. party that a sample of the new liquid foundation was being handed out at L.A. Live-but I had to get to Death Valley asap and was unable to get a sample. So ce la vie and will shall see...

In the meantime I put my Arbonne mineral foundation over it and look at that finish. I really like it.

This photo shows the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Party Starter lip gloss on! I am also wearing the Bare Minerals cheek color called cheerful. A lil bit blends easily and the color was buildable. I must admit, it is not the large pigment chunky funk I remember from a few years ago.

I like the shaker cap that locks in place so  the powder doesn't spill out. I had a different brand of powder in a shaker like container and it opened in my purse effectively making up all of my purse contents!
Finally, I am all made up with using mostly Bare Minerals makeup samples from the 2014 Generation Beauty YouTube Space L.A. party in June.

I really, really like this mascara even though it has an obnoxious advertisement claim on the box of "10 in 1 lash benefits". Really? It has a funky brush, but, precision application, the formula has no scent, slips on, doesn't smudge and no stinging. Nothing is worse than being able to smell your lashes! My Bare Minerals Lash Domination sample is in Intense Black.

I am wearing the Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Never Say Never. It's not exactly a color I would normally wear, but that's the best part of getting a sample. The chance to get out of the makeup rut box!

So if you see these bright pink lips at Legoland, it's a good chance it's me!
Happy Summer all!
