Today I share some experience from the Belle Mead historic site and winery. It's a plantation from back in the day that now is a walk through preservation of life in the beginning of the United States. They call it a sanctuary of southern life. It certainly was full of beauty!
Belle Meade is dedicated to the preservation of Tennessee’s history, architecture, hospitality, and equestrian legacy.". I agree! My favorite was the rich horse history and how so many winners were sired through Bonnie Scotland! (see photo below)
In this Wine Wednesday with a fanology lesson from the Belle Meade historical site and winery in Nashville Tennessee. I do have some footage to share from the grounds and will post in a separate video.
Oh it was so beautiful, so green, and so so muggy hot, hence, the need for a personal fan. That fan has come in handy many a time now that I am back on the West coast. The wine is from a tasting held on site and there were 4 varietals though I only purchased one.
