Fanola- No Orange Test - How to tone brassy orange box color results to be less in between colory

HI ya Gorgeous!

Welcome to MakeupUniversity and today's experiment on myself.

I've been slowly, gently working the pandemic box of brown ordered off of Amazon out of my hair. That box of medium brown really looks light black on me.

I've been to the salon for professional highlights to begin the process. Now I'm using a lightening kit at home - again - ordered off of Amazon. I am liking the L'Oreal kit process and look.

Yet!

My old box brown has lightened to that weird orange tone. Even with using the purple conditioner - I need to tone this brass down. Enter Fanolo. I found the product though a google search for "how to tone brassy hair at home".

Ordered on Amazon (use this affiliate link if you want some for yourself https://amzn.to/3kegJz2 )

This video demonstrates me using it for the first time on DRY hair. Then I washed a second time with the Fanola shampoo in the shower.

Now - going forward into the rest of the week, I'm going to use the Fanola each time I shampoo between now and next week when I highlight my hair again. What do you think? Have you used this? Would you try? Let me know in the comments and thank you for subscribing and sharing today!

Shakespeare Wit for April

Hi ya Gorgeous! How you doin' today? Got something funny for ya!

The new series is bloomin' here at MakeupUniversity and it stems from the old adage "necessity is the mother of invention".

So I did not invent Shakespeare though I sure do like the creative use of language and abhor profanity.

Get your copy of this book here https://amzn.to/35W7kZr - and please, post your best insults in the comments.

The plan is to put up a weekly video of insults to help you deal with the days we are living in.

Anti-Inflammatory Meal Prep - Testing Something I Learned on YouTube

Hi ya Gorgeous!

Well, welcome to a test run of eating anti-inflammatory nutrient dense foods for the week. I was searching for recipes and found @Kayla Chandler - this video https://youtu.be/BrtHl1wa_Jc is what I am basing my menu on.

I do like sweet potatoes though I don't think I have ever eaten this many in a week! Here's to trying something new and healing with food!

All the chopping of hard sweet potatoes dulled my knife - so I bought a new one on Amazon https://amzn.to/36WPcPa
