What to do for thinning and shedding hair on your Valentine's Day-or TWD day

Hi ya Gorgeous!
Happy The Walking Dead is back on day!

Or in other news...Happy Valentine's Day.

Jesus is my Valentine. Enough said.

And...moving on to other news, such as this...in the effort to curb the massive shedding brought on by freak Hashimoto's disease thyroid revolt, I'm trying this shampoo and conditioner from Thicker Fuller Hair

I said in February that I would wash my hair once a week in an effort to curb shedding. Though these warm days with no wind has me running! I love it!
Oh no! Now I'm a big sweaty mess and sweaty stinky hair is not in my list of favorite things. So I may have to increase my washing though when I do, I will be using this.

I'm taking a before picture today and then will take another at the end of the month and update this post with my use of the Thicker Fuller Hair shampoo and conditioner.
It's available at Amazon.com, and in mass drugstores and retailers now.

I'm also one week into using my Hair Anew vitamin supplement.

Here's some details from the brand:

About Thicker Fuller Hair

If you have thinning hair, you are definitely not alone. Some of the major factors that can contribute to thinning hair or hair loss are:
  • Genetics
  • Stress (diet, smoking, grief, recovery from
    major surgery, etc.)
  • Hair strain (caused by certain styling – cornrows,
    tight curlers)
  • Hormonal disorders
  • Unhealthy lifestyle
  • Environment
  • Pregnancy
  • Medication

Thicker Fuller Hair® products are formulated with Cell-U-Plex technology, a synergistic blend of pure plant extracts, vitamins and proteins that infuses the hair shaft to instantly bodify and amplify fine, thin hair.
The Cell-U-Plex formula is further enhanced with Caffeine Energizers to help invigorate and energize the scalp. This unique formula is optimized to leave the scalp and hair healthier and stronger without added weight or residue.
In addition, Thicker Fuller Hair’s revolutionary Marine Flora Complex is clinically shown to help reduce the appearance of hair loss. It works by stimulating and strengthening your locks to encourage healthy hair growth and to visibly increase the diameter of hair strands.Remember: you are beautiful! Hey gals pals!
I have a quick question for you today: what makes you beautiful? I would like to hear from you, either post your comment or email me and share a bit about what it is about yourself that makes you personally feel beautiful.

I ask this because I'm involved in some charities, fundraisers and benefits and I walk between the seriously abused and the seriously in need of an attitude check. Each lady has value and each lady is beautiful but sometimes neither: the poorest or the richest realize or see their real beauty and worth.

Some put labels on themselves with words and some use labels from department store brands to make themselves feel beautiful and that's awesome if it's workin' for you. Though after labels fade and sizes no longer fit, then what is it that makes you feel beautiful?

I always seem to be at war with myself whether it's in my head or closet at any given day or time. Though the skinny pants fitting, freshly colored roots that have not gone awry, or the most amazing pedicure are not what make me beautiful.

I am beautiful because I have Jesus in my heart. On my ugly days when I have done something screwy or said something awful then polished off a pepperoni jalapeno sausage pizza in one sitting and hate myself for it; He is always there with his precious Blood to wash me clean again and remind me that it's my heart that He is after. He wants to know me, and you, for who we are not for what we look like.

So I encourage you today, that if you haven't talked to Him lately, to simply begin a wee conversation with Him. Don't know where to start? Just say Hi Jesus, it's ______, (put your name in here)and let your day unroll before Him. He is the best listener, comforter and counselor and I can promise that you will feel better, and quite honestly beautiful.

Come see me tonight at City of Grace in Mesa for the opening night of Prayer Quake. It's free and a real hootenanny!

Confessions of an HCG dieter

What an adventure this has been and it's definately been more than I bargained for!
Though for as challenging as it has been I appreciate what I have learned along the way.

Life gems such as: I really can cook fish and have it not be awful! In fact I really like it now and consider it more of a weekly food staple than a restaraunt treat.

I also am a new grapefruit eater. Yep, daily I have a grapefruit with a wee bit of stevia and cinnamon on it. I can honestly say delicious! I have you to thank Dr. Simeons and the HCG Diet Protocol for my new grapefruit habit.

Melba is not a household word and a daily struggle to not eat the whole box in one sitting. I love salty crunchy snacks and that is exactly what this is! The sea salt rounds are my favorite Melba and I can only imagine what those are going to taste like dipped in some French Onion sour creme dip somewhere along the way.

Alas, there are challenges that have come along such as the intense cravings. I no longer have the serious case of hungries that plagued me the first week, but I have serious snack cravings for sweets. Odd since I am not normally a sweet eater.

The protocol does not advocate exercise ( odd, isn't it) but I can't give up my daily running. So when it comes to "Pounds and Inches" I can honestly say that between the running and the cheating I have lost 8 pounds total and lost 5 inches, then gained 'em back, lost 'em and gained 'em and maybe after tomorrow's weigh in I'll have lost them again.

Wow, at that rate, it makes it seem like I have really lost alot! My goal in HCG dieting is to reset my hypothalmus gland and so onward I press on.  I am curious to know how do I know that my hypothalmus gland has been reset by following Dr. Simeons diet protocol? Will I receive an email confirmation or will I just "know"?

Since I've cheated so much I'm not exactly sure what day I am on and have restarted several times. Well, isn't that the beauty of the American way and being in Jesus? Every day is a new day and no time like the present to begin, or begin again!

I toast my melba to you and your success!
