Keranique & Me - Honest Review

The weather is turning warm and that means that growing hair should be a tad bit easier than in colder months. True story. It is not an old wives tale - you grow less in cold weather and more in warm weather. Something about blood flow to the follicles?

Anyhoo - I bought this off of Amazon and have been using for 2 weeks. I had a blog sample of this product years ago and loved it! Now I have a shampoo, conditioner, treatment spray and styling spray in a 30 day kit.

Feeding Fitness Goals - AIP Style

Thank you for checkin' in today! It's a wild and rare Thursday post - but - I was in the kitchen and figured you could use the "learnin'" too! Who else is working on fitness or health goals? I know I am! Quick reminder, if you have gotten away from your new year resolution goals - take a moment, be kind to yourself and just start again. It's okay!

I'm working my way into the AIP - auto-immune protocol for healing my thyroid.


Darn Hashimotos! For me, that mean including avocado in my diet - and I don't like avocado - not then, not now, but I have found a way to include in my weekly meal plan.

Nutrastim Laser Hair Comb: my sample and review

Hi ya Gorgeous,
I just received a sample of the Nutrastim Laser Hair Comb with the hope that it will help my Hashimoto's thyroid disease ravaged hair.

So here's how it went down:

I received a sample of the Nutrastim Laser Hair Comb.
At first I didn't know how to use it and just ran it through my hair. Alas! I have read up on it online and now know to :
1) Part the hair, and slowly move the comb over the scalp
2) Use on clean hair but not wet hair or hair with alot of product buildup
3) The beep means it's time to move the comb!

To me it feels good, has a slightly warm and hint of tingle.
Now I will be using this 3 times a week, for the 8 minutes at a time, then report back here in 30 days.

What to do for thinning and shedding hair on your Valentine's Day-or TWD day

Or in other news...Happy Valentine's Day.

Jesus is my Valentine. Enough said.

And...moving on to other news, such as this...in the effort to curb the massive shedding brought on by freak Hashimoto's disease thyroid revolt, I'm trying this shampoo and conditioner from Thicker Fuller Hair

I said in February that I would wash my hair once a week in an effort to curb shedding. Though these warm days with no wind has me running! I love it!
