It's Christmas Eve

Hi ya Gorgeous,
So it's Christmas Eve tonight. Are you ready? Do you have all of your gifts wrapped and ready?

Here's a thought, no matter what you got done for the holidays this year - it's ok, and it's enough. Personally, this has been one of the most non-Christmas like Christmases for me ever. I didn't get the lights up on the house, any gingerbread houses made, no new ornaments created and just flat out, flat holiday season for me.
The pressure at this time of year to perform is insane and un-achievable and to coin a term, Griswold.

So whether it got done or not, please take a moment and relax and enjoy your loved ones.

 This time of celebrating Jesus Christ is about relationship. Some of you may be having a big family get together and some of you may be at home with your fur family and celebrating just as much.

Please be good to yourself and others! You are so loved!

Part of the miracle of the season this year is that Hanukkah begins tonight as well. Enjoy your celebrations and Chag Sameach!

Resurrection Sunday: He is Risen! Happy Easter!

Today, is Sunday. Though it's not just any Sunday, it's Resurrection Sunday. Easter Sunday.

Some may believe along side me, that today represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ and for other's it's nust another day.

Though I encourage you, even if you do not believe in the same faith as I do, today can be a day for you to claim and pull on the power of a resurrection.

If you need something that has died in your life to come back to you, such as a resurrection of dreams that have gone to the way side, or friendships that may have gone awry and you want to call back to fruitfulness, today s the day to believe for a miracle in your life.

I totally believe that it is possible for the dreams of yesteryear, those that never quite birthed into reality from eight to ten years ago, can come back to life, today. Just ask!

Mighty Maundy Thursday to you!

Cheers to your Maundy Thursday!

Maundy Thursday is observed during Holy Week on the Thursday before Easter. Also referred to as "Holy Thursday" or "Great Thursday" in some Christian denominations, Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. In contrast to joyful Easter celebrations when Christians worship their resurrected Savior, Maundy

Thursday services are typically more solemn occasions, marked by the shadow of Jesus' betrayal.

While different denominations observe Maundy Thursday in their own distinct ways, two important biblical events are the primary focus of Maundy Thursday solemnizations:

Before the Passover meal, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. By performing this lowly act of service, the Bible says in John 13:1 that Jesus "showed them the full extent of his love." By his example, Jesus demonstrated how Christians are to love one another through humble service. For this reason, many churches practice foot-washing ceremonies as a part of their Maundy Thursday services.

 
During the Passover meal, Jesus took bread and wine and asked his Father to bless it. He broke the bread into pieces, giving it to his disciples and said, "This is my body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." Then he took the cup of wine, shared it with his disciples and said, "This wine is the token of God's new covenant to save you--an agreement sealed with the blood I will pour out for you."

These events recorded in Luke 22:19-20 describe the Last Supper and form the biblical basis for the practice of Communion. For this reason, many churches hold special Communion services as a part of their Maundy Thursday celebrations. Likewise, many congregations observe a traditional Passover Seder meal.

What Does "Maundy" Mean?

Derived from the Latin word mandatum, meaning "commandment," Maundy refers to the commands Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper: to love with humility by serving one another and to remember his sacrifice.

Get your neighbor and go to church! It's National Back to Church Sunday

What is Back to Church Sunday?

This year, National Back to Church Sunday kicks off on September 18th, 2011. National Back to Church Sunday is a special day set aside each year on the third Sunday of September when thousands of people who do not regularly attend church are invited and welcomed to a church near them. On that day, thousands of churches will open their doors and welcome everyone who would like to rediscover church.

"Only two percent of church members invite an un-churched person to church. Ninety-eight percent of churchgoers never extend an invitation in a given year." –LifeWay Research

Organizers say most people who drop out of church haven't lost their faith in God, they simply fell out of the habit of churchgoing. Some moved or had a change in life circumstances, or they had a falling out with their former church and simply drifted away. Most often, life became too busy. This means many of them could be open to returning to church.

Hello-today is one of my most favorite days of the year. Today is Easter!
The celebration is about Jesus Christ being risen from the dead. He conquered the cross for me and you.
I love it!
Today, I'm at church, and brunch, and egg hunts and in general celebrating with my family and having fun
because I can. I'm saved by the grace of God!
He is so good! If you don't know Jesus, it's time to get to know Him because you are worth it! You know how I know? Because over 2000 years ago, Jesus thought you were worth it and went to the cross and died for you and your sins. That's why.

The Trinity is One God who relates to us in various manifestations of His Personhood. God as a Father relates to us as His children, sons and daughters, when we receive Y'shua or Jesus as our Savior because of His sacrifice for our sins on the cross. Jesus as Messiah and Lord desires intimacy with His Body which is the Church, the Bride of Christ. Holy Spirit was given to reveal the love of Jesus to us, His Bride, to be fully conformed into His Image through worship, fellowship and oneness in communion and union with His Spirit.
Song of Solomon 4:9 "You have ravished my heart, my sister, my bride, with one glance of your eye, with one bead of your necklace." We are to have dove's eyes, focused completely on Jesus. Doves are singularly focused and in love with one mate for life. The neck speaks of grace and connects Jesus the Head to us, His Body. I pray you are blessed by this video...I am my Beloved's and He is Mine!!!! He is in love with me and I with Him. The same love the Father has for Jesus He has for us.

I love Easter! I love Passover! I love the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's just beautiful in so many facets and no matter how you look at it, it always boils down to a simple love story.

Jesus loved you enough to go to the cross for you, and I'm guessing by time He got there that He was stinky. There are so many beauty secrets that have been passed down through the generations of Israel and Dead Sea mud/salts are one of them!

I'm guessing on that journey, Jesus Christ had more on His mind than an olive oil pommade, or sea salt foot scrub to keep His feet sandal ready. I'm grateful He made the sacrifice for me and for you!

Enjoy your colored egg hunt, the chocolate bunnies and spiral sliced ham, but remember: you are beautiful because He first called you so! I love you!
