Studio Gear CC Cream for Legoland adventure over the Independence Day weekend

My family loves to go to Legoland in Carlsbad California. Love it so much that we have annual passes and we live in Arizona.

While the Mancub was panning for gold in the Castle area of Legoland, I took a break to freshen up my makeup slew side and thought you may want to see what I'm using.

Hmm, the liner was hard, the concealer is nice, and the mascara is a bit dry for my liking, though the CC Cream is really lovely. Blends great, wears well under heat and humidity, gave good full coverage that looked natural and not like a fake cake of beige spackle on my face. So far so good!

It's that time of year: time to plan a holiday party look, holiday photos are going to be taken at some point and lest we forget that New Year's Eve is steaming it's way towards us.

I have recently tested the Maybelline Volum'Express mascara called 'the Falsies-Flared' in Blackest Black.

It's a .31 oz size and can be found at most mass retailers like Walmart and Target in the $5 range-with coupons being available if you check the papers or online.

Now, it could be me, my lashes, winter weather or the fact that my eyelids are like knee caps; the mascara went on well, did give some fullness, but within a few hours smudged below my eyes like I had been crying or possibly participating in pro football.

Something to note: the photo is from the Maybelline website and the model is wearing a set of false eyelashes. When I applied this mascara, I did get a good full look, but nothing like what is shown in the photo.

If it didn't smudge I would really like this product. Maybe it can work for you? It's worth a try. It is available in a waterproof formula that may prevent smudging but could possibly give the challenge of now needing to amp up the removal process.

Either way-I love trying out a new product and especially mascara since it's my favorite beauty product!
