Everything from skincare with anti-aging properties is available along with a partnering cosmetic.
There are free gifts with purchase included in most of the bubble packs. Like the spf20 foundation comes with a free three toned concealer and application brush. The concealer includes a corrective yellow, a highlighting and a contouring creamy concealer. It spreads easily, absorbs, is lightweight on the skin and I think you’ll like the results.

My favorite thing about the sheer foundation is that for Arizona, it’s easy to blend one pump of the Kirkland Signature by Borghese foundation with one pump of the anti-aging moisturizer for a “do it yourself” tinted moisturizer.

Which in heat advisory weather, you want some coverage, some sun protection and something that if it gets sweaty; can easily be blended back into place.

The bronzer and translucent powder both come with free gwp’s that are retractable brushes which are perfect for traveling and your everyday purse. Now the translucent powder is soft, and gives a matte-like finish but is not powdery, talc’y (is that a word?) and won’t cake up on you when you get sweaty.

If you have been passing this kiosk wanting to try it before you buy it, on the weekends, most stores have an event demo artist standing there with samples to give away for free, for you to try. They range from the full skin care line to each product in the color line.
I think you should try this now and fall in love because this Borghese is the same as what you by in Saks Fifth Avenue, or Bloomingdales, just a heck of a lot cheaper and it’s a great product.

Oops! It was a taped show yesterday, and so the airing of the segment featuring me and JennyVi's couture bridal gowns will actually be shown in September! Wow, that in one way is a long way away and in another, it isn't.

I used the Adesign brushes in the segment and my findings are lovely. The brushes are soft to the touch, light weight, the ergonomic molding of the handle makes it balance beautifully in my hand.

Which means more control of blending and shadow application.

TOKI results and AVEDA

My faithful friends, it has been one of the longest tests that Makeup University has done…I personally tested the TOKI product of drinkable youth powder and saw some lovely results.
First, it tastes great. It’s a light lemony flavor, so I put it into my iced tea. Though here’s the catch, read the instructions, especially the part about don’t mix in cold liquids. Why? Because it clumps.

That’s okay, I just drank my clumps. So when you get yours, mix your tea and TOKI, then add ice after it is completely dissolved.

One of my favorite results of this TOKI test is that sure, my skin is firmer looking throughout the face and neck, but; it’s the lightness of my facial skin that is most interesting in the test results.

See in Arizona, you can’t help but get sun on you resulting in a sun tan because of the intensity and duration of the sun here. Well, with my everyday facial sunscreen and the TOKI my face has retained a lightness to it.

Today I visited MoodSwings salon in Tempe for the AVEDA hair model event they are having. I know what you are thinking, I’m not a model. Even so, I do have hair and I’m looking for a story here…
After all, I did survive the last hair nightmare, my scalp has healed and I’m ready to try a salon stylist again. I figure, I may as well make a sport of it and write the beauty truth along the way. If I’m selected, I’ll take a before and after picture. This should take care of the continual request for an updated photo; which the only reason why I don’t post one or get new headshots is because I can’t stand the way my hair looks.

It has morphed from Mogli the jungle boy to a brown cow concoction. See! That’s why I don’t photograph it. I don’t want it recorded for posterity.

If you are in the Tempe area and need a great salon, this is one to try because it’s full service and is a licensed AVEDA center. I love the philosophy, the company and most importantly the integrity of the AVEDA products.

Me & JennyVi at the West Valley Wedding Expo June 28th

Okay, mark this one on your calendars, fill up the tank and load up your friends: JennyVi and I will be at this bridal show doing a fashion runway set of her custom couture bridal gowns and some prêt a porte.

The organizers have truly put together an amazing line up of activities, raffles and giveaways. It will be a more intimate affair compared to other larger shows in the Phoenix.

I like how the media is still saying that we are NOT in a recession. Do these people not buy gas or groceries?

One of the things I love best about the discount warehouse is the fragrance selection! They have so many choices in perfume ( remember, I love perfume. I wear it in layers so I have a big cloud of it floating about me, just like Pigpen the Peanuts gang character. Instead of dirt, it's perfume!)
