SMASHBOX:Spring pallete Oh so gorgeous! Bridal looks too!

Hello gorgeous!
SMASHBOX-which you can get at any Sephora store or online, or Macy's has got the hottest look for spring and in my humble opinion for brides too!
Welcome to the blog the last feature with our guest model Miss Kourtney Wallace, who is a singer, actress and dancer!

She is wearing a simple day look in the palette using the golden peach all over the eye, the matte beige on the brow bone and liner and contour in the gunmetal grey tone.
This is a fun and fashionable, easy to use and great wearing eyeshadow pallette!
You can pick this special edition SMASHBOX eyeshadow palette up at any Sephora-and in my town, I suggest you go to the San Tan Sephora store and do some shopping for SMASHBOX shadows and then have some lunch at the Grimaldi's pizza-then where you go after there is your business! This palette is so versatile you could easily go from day to bridal to evening!

Oh I need a sip of my hint water while reading super hot novel Killer Heat by Brenda Novak!
On my lips is the Three Custom Color Specialists lip gloss in Killer Heat red!

Destination brides you should get some hint water to stay hydrated during the busy preparations and relax yourself by reading a great book and moisturizing your lips at the same time!
HINT water is unsweetened essence water that has zero calories! I love the blackberry but the raspberry lime isn't too bad either! It has zero sweeteners, zero calories and zero preservatives-clear and simple! Learn more and where to get some for yourself at http://www.drinkhint.com/

Killer Heat is the third installment of this summer's trilogy of books and part of it is set in Arizona! My experience is that Brenda Novak is simply a great storyteller and she writes characters that you love, and some you love to hate! She partnered with Three Custom Color Specialists to have a gloss to match each of the stories and the third is a rich ruby red. I love it!

Go to http://www.brendanovak.com/ to learn more about the books and where you can get them, plus subscribe to stay in touch with when the next Twitter party is!

The Winkee! A modest gals guide to style!

TotalBeauty.com
Eyebrows 101

See why having great brows is the best beauty-enhancing tip

Eyebrows 101

This is a TotalBeauty.com makeup tips article

If you've ever seen before and after brow photos, you know what a difference well-defined ones make. Here are some tips to help you get your best brows yet.

Read tips

Oh yeah! That's me wearing the Winkee! This is a a lovely piece of wardrobe that you must
get! Why? Because 99% of the clothes made today are super low cut. I love a turtleneck and in fact own several, but I can't wear them in the Arizona summer! Or spring, or Fall for that fact I have to wait for the January week of winter here in Arizona.

So the Winkee is my new friend because it's super small but covers a large area and is easy to attach to your undergarment and get full coverage in what is normally a wee tank top! This scoop neck tank

is low, but now with the Winkee! Normally I have to
pull my tank up but not anymore!
Now in my button up shirt, again, the Winkee gives coverage and modesty without a layer of clothing to add another reason to sweat in the Arizona heat. There are so many colors and choices I know you will be happy with it.

Now for some reason, if you do choose to let it all hang out that's okay too because the Winkee is so small and easy to use that you could have it on at work, then leave for your next adventure and remove the winkee and put it in your wallet. Yes, wallet! It's that small!

Find more out at www.thewinkee.com and if you would like to win one for yourself, then come by the Arizona Bridal Affair Makeup University booth and sign up for the new hub blog newsletter at http://cherelynn.com Don't live in the Scottsdale area? That's okay! All subscribers to the new blog newsletter on Sunday September 26 will be entered into the beauty bonanza giveaway!

Cellceuticals Biomedical Regenerative Skin Treatment

TotalBeauty.com
Beauty Emergencies -- Solved!

Follow these steps to fix that monstrous zit or tanning cream trauma

Beauty Emergencies -- Solved!

This is a TotalBeauty.com beauty products article

Unfortunately, there's no beauty 911 number to call, but these easy steps will help you solve your emergency in a snap.

See steps

I'm getting ready to try a new Cellceuticals biomedical skin treatment as well as use a favorite!

I love the Cellceuticals extremely gentle face wash for sensitive skin-it's not that I have sensitive skin but after a long hot summer it's gentle on skin that has seen too much sun! I am thinking that this winter with snow play and long days snowboarding that my cold wind chapped skin is going to need an extremely gentle cleanser like the white bottle by Cellceuticals.

One thing to note: the pink scrublet that you see me holding is from a different line of skin care and it's similiar to a face wash brush or pouf.

It's very gentle and can be easily cleaned so it doesn't transfer bacteria to cause breakouts and the base is a suction cup so after use and cleaning it can hung on the wall or shower door to dry!

It's a silicone based rubber and has two different levels of nubs that help exfoliate and gently cleanse the skin.
Now that blue space age looking tube is the super potent night treatment with exclusive and patent pending GFP Cellular complex which acts as a cellular stimulant to encourage the regeneration of new surface cells for younger looking skin.

So I'm going to wash off my makeup and apply some and test it for the next two weeks to see how the combination of retinol, antioxidants, and lipopeptides in a nanoemulsion work for my skin!

Thanks for visiting today and remember to subscribe on the new hub blog: http://cherelynn.com Then come see me this Sunday September 26th at the Arizona Bridal Affair-I'll be doing makeup, booking appointments and boy oh boy do I ever have a sweet giveaway for the brides! See you soon!

Okay, it is the day after Mother's day and the sugar high should be wearing off by now? I know I over indulged in sweets! A coca cola cake was amazing and my all time favorite of red velvet cake was also served at the mother's day brunch. Phew, thank God for elastic waist band pants!

Now today, I am including a little bit about the Harpo Hook up show, and watch it, and start dreaming but don't wait for Oprah or the cast of SNL, Shaq or Gayle to surprise you with a hook up. Her show is about this " We found him on YouTube…now, we're hooking him up big time! Then, will.i.am changes the lives of four unsuspecting high schoolers. Plus, Shaq's supersized hookup". Now when you are through watching the show, why don't you start praying into it, the thing you are dreaming about and daily take steps toward your goal.

And if your goal is beauty related then I have a gift, or a "hook up" for you. I am giving to one lucky reader who is a bride, a free bridal wedding day of makeup. Consider it your 'hook up' to an amazing day of wedding makeup and a blessing. I look forward to reading your comments and I'll be drawing a winner on May 13th!

Spring is in the air and it's wedding time! In Arizona, it's a busy time for weddings because by June it's sweaty hot, July is not even an option, August is an option if you wear medical grade anti-perspirant and need a really cheap deal on hotels and come September it begins to be bridal season again with October and November being busy times for brides and grooms to say "I do"!

There are many wedding shows happening through out the greater Phoenix area right now, and to help you find the right resources visit www.theknot.com and click on the local link. If you need help with your beauty the webiste is full of Q & A's along with forums to help guide you to what you are looking for.

When it comes to beauty and your wedding day, you will want to get the right tools and products- try looking on www.theknot.com partner websites such as www.endlessbeauty.com for more help. Afterall, sometimes a magazine's info can be outdated by time it hits the stands and gets into your wedding planning hands.

Personally, I think the best wedding rule of thumb is to keep it simple, for all those involved. When it comes to your makeup, looking like you with a little more definition and a touch more contouring will photograph well and have a timeless look in your photos.

Good luck and have fun planning your wedding and try the resources! I do bridal makeup workshops and speaking engagements so you never know, I just may see you at a bridal show!

What a great way to celebrate your special day by having a destination wedding! I know that there are amazing memories to be made in a period style dress such as these and a short trip to your local renaissance faire.

Yesterday I wrote about the different types and styles of timeless beauty that I saw while visiting the Arizona Renaissance faire and today I wanted to let you know that if you are looking for a unique and creative way to hold your wedding yet have it feel worlds away, this may be for you!

The day that As You Wish photographer Brandy Caldwell and I were at the faire to do the Jennifer Lopez "Aint It Funny" video inspired gypsy photoshoot there was a wedding going on right next to us! The lush green landscape, and multi-colored tents along with magnificiently detailed costumes and props made the wedding look like the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves movie with Kevin Costner.

There are many packages available and can be customized to a bride and grooms individual wedding needs. I spoke with Linda, the Arizona wedding coordinator and she said that there is still time to hold your nuptials at the Faire during March 2010. You elopers go for it! Call Linda! The gorgeous bridal costumes can be purchased from a Faire vendor or borrowed from the Faire's closet.

As a bride getting ready for this ancient time period in a destination style wedding, if I were doing your hair and makeup I would say:

1. Sheer foundation with a light dusting of HD powder for pictures
2. Lip stain and cheeks in a rosy shade and a clear gloss over the top
3. Simple two toned shadows for a more authentic time period look. Light on the eyeliner and mascara. In fact, I would put on a set of demi whispies and seal them with a sheer mascara.
4. Plaited hair! If you have enough length to braid your hair, I would do simple braids that braid together to make a plaiting effect. Throw on a veil and go get married girl!

Keep your nails simple and french tipped or sheer bridal pink to stay true to the merry old England 1800's feel.

Special thanks to Linda and Sanja at the Arizona Renaissance Faire for their gracious help with this story. All images are courtesy of Brandy Caldwell of As You Wish Photography. http://www.asyouwishphoto.net/
