Hello Gorgeous, I received a lovely sample of the Our Skinny diet shakes and snack bars. Super yummy-though the raspberry lemonade flavor did take some getting used to because it has a slightly thick texture when mixed. I fixed the thickness by adding more water. One of the shakes has a probiotic base to it meaning you are getting your good belly bugs while also having a controlled portion of calories. The wee journal of food tracking and exercise log is really helpful. I admit-I have blown it on some things! So far, the diet is a fun challenge. Alas my friends it's Sunday. I'm writing this on Saturday while the Go Diego Go! movie is playing and keeping the Mancub busy for the moment; and I do mean moment.

Bremmen Labs who were so generous as to send me a sample of their top six products. They included one called "Butt Lift in a Box", needless to say I was surprised to open said box and find a tube of creme and a large rubber band.

Ok, I'm not one to read instructions, so this may take a time or two? Trial and error in my own home laboratory? I can't really promise a step by step picture tutorial on this one, because I'm shy.

The Bremmen Labs 6-1 face creme has been fun though I am now on to the next product.
A sample of the Olay ProX wrinkle creme. At first touch it has the consistency of old skool glue paste and the smell to go with it. I've been transported back to my Kindergarten class, though this time I won't eat it.

I'll let you know how it goes. In the meantime, Glory to God enjoy the Lord's day making memories with your fam!

Oh and holy smokes I"m excited for tomorrow's how to video, it's a doozy!

Triathlon For Girls Like Us...who wants to train?

Hey gals
I got this book in the mail, read it and loved it. In fact, I think I'm having a God *Wink* moment. I seriously have been thinking about it for some time now that I want to compete in a triathlon. You know, for the fun of it and the accomplishment.

I have the running part down, and with some kind of bum padding I think the bike is going to be doable, it's the swimming I'm concerned about. I am a strong swimmer but don't do it alot.

It's not like I'm signing up for the Ironman, I'm signing up for the half-Ironman.
So, does anyone want to join and train?

The God *Wink* book I received is by Gloria Safar and it's called "Triathlon For Girls Like Us" and it's a great layout of what and how you need to train to be ready.

It has this great chapter on nutrition which is so imporant! When I ran the P.F. Chang's Rock n Roll half marathon, when I finished, I had the race exit snacks and then ate some Taco Bell and drove back to my house which was 4 1/2 hours away! Nuts! Okay, so now I know how NOT to do it.

I'm thinking I'm going to start lining up the necessary details to compete in the half-Ironman triathlon. Join me!
