Hey gals! Are you in a mid summer beauty slump? I am feeling a bit frumpy and I think it has to do with the extreme heat and humidity. Hey friends! The 2010 Spring and Summer trend report is for big, really big voluminous hair! Think: Farrah Fawcett when she was on Charlie's Angels: big, full and feathered. Or just back to some old 1980's movies for reference b ecause everybody had big hair then. If that isn't enough reference point for you: just go to photos of ladies in the Dallas/Ft. I love the winds of change! woot! Oh, but standing in the winds of change along with freezing slanted rain, well; let's just say it was a unique challenge.

I did get up this morning and curl my hair, wrap up some hair rolls and pin them under a large flower. Before doing all that to create a pretty darn cute style for the day, I protected my hair with the got2b Guardian Angel heat protection spray.

Right now, there is a storm going through Arizona, and we have had hurricane like winds with rain today.
I've been using the sample of Smooth Operator by got 2 b for a week now and I love it! I am a faithful user of Biosilk, and it was a nice switch to move into a less "shiny gloss" look into a well, no pun intended, but a smooth lustre look.

There is a difference and I know you will enjoy it. The packaging is cute and I like the fun charm that is hanging on the bottle. It's a pump bottle, and one pump is plenty for my shoulder length hair.

Whoa! All of a sudden I'm "Miss Hair'do". I love going to the salon and having the stylist do my hair. Oh, I wish they could just do it every day! Funny, when I do someone's makeup, they say the same thing!
Okay, go here: http://www.profoundbeauty.com/ and see what I am talking about. They sent me some products to try and sometimes, testing on your own works, but when it came to hair, I had to test on someone else. No one else is really around ...except...the toddler. Oh yeah!
He is currently wearing a grown out "faux hawk" so it gave me plenty to work with.

I used the Structure Working Spray and the Atmosphere Desert Texture Spray. How apropro right? Since we live in the desert?

It came out nice and piecey, full, with lots of soft spikes that could be readjusted. All of this was happening on his head while I had Hush Time Out Treatment sitting in my own hair.

The treatment can be left in dry hair for additional conditioning so I left it. Then used t he Stylist Volume foam to give my roots so lift. I sprayed some Desert Texture spray and thankfully it came out clear and gave a firm base to back comb my up-do on to. I finished the whole head with a spray of the Working spray and of course, finished with my signature flower.

Nice! I may be converting to a hair person...
