How to use the Generation Beauty app for the New York City

Holla Gorgeous!
Happy Monday. I love Mondays!
Now it's over a week since I have attended the Generation Beauty event in Los Angeles at the LA Live event deck.

Loved it! In fact, I will have my review videos and product review posts coming out this week. Why so long?
Because when I got home last Monday, I instantly launched into LEGO Robotic Camp Mom mode for my Mancub's week of engineering and building robots.
I created a "how to" video for the Generation Beauty app. Why? Because it's news I wish I had before I got to the event. Yes, I had a plan. But I didn't have enough of a plan or a Plan B, Plan C and a Plan C 1/2.

Now about that video...

Tony Awards: will Bradley Cooper win for The Elephant Man?

 Hi ya Gorgeous!
Tony Awards are on tonight, are you watching? I want to watch and find out if Bradley Cooper wins for his role as John Merrick in The Elephant Man. I was fascinated by the movie as a young girl. I SO wish I could have seen the Broadway show!

Let's learn a bit more about the Broadway play "The Elephant Man" and have a product review too!

Entering the summer cycle of travel beauty: Top 10 things to have in your purse!

Hi ya Gorgeous,
Whoa-I can hardly believe that a week has gone by since was at LA Live for Generation Beauty.
Yes I am working on my round up and review of the bounty of products and on Monday I have planned a "how to" guide for using the Generation Beauty app to help you make the most of the New York Generation Beauty event!

While in LA for the Generation Beauty event, I did get a lil time at the beach, but not enough! It's on the list for this summer to just bunk out on the beach for some serious swimming, castle building, shell hunting and then some!

Plus we have to make it to Legoland. Stat. We have annual passes and we have not been since New Year's Eve...evidenced by this photo!

So on to the cycle of summer travel. My family travels a lot. It seems we are always coming or going.

So I have gotten a new bag, with more structure and pockets and filled them with the things that I need to help make it through the summer travel while not looking like a sweaty banshee and keeping my kid covered in sunscreen too!

Here's the Top 10 list of things to have in yhttps://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=4225432308786707843#editor/target=post;postID=768379692536396355our purse to get through the summer cycle of travel!

Disney beauty tools from SoHo: just what a gal needs for the weekend!

TGIF Gorgeous!

I am a huge Disney fan and have been for some time!
One of my all time, I mean, all time favorite movies is the Disney animation film Beauty and the Beast.

Years ago I auditioned for the part of  Belle in Los Angeles. The Broadway play was coming to the Shubert theater. Here's the bottom line. To my ever living chagrin.

I lied on the application.

You had to be a minimum of 5'8" to fit the yellow ball gown.
Nonsense!

I'm almost 5'3" but I can PLAY 5'8".

At the audition, there were rows and rows of gorgeous ladies, patiently standing in line waiting to run the short dance steps we learned and then sing a few bars.

I was in the second row standing side by side with these creatures who were part legs and part lungs.

Imagine what it looks like: 5'8" tall ladies, and then  me: a far enough past 5'2" that I may as well say 5'3", let alone 5'8"

Ha! It was so obvious!

The casting director was filled with grace and let me finish the audition when he should have called me out on the lie and tossed me on my bum!

It was clear, I was not going to make the cut.

I am sorry for lying. Though I am proud of myself for trying against all odds!

So what does all of this have to do with Disney and Beauty and the Beast?

SoHo has a line of beauty tools and makeup bags with some characters, including Belle.
