I have a helpful healthy hint for you today! Personally, I have A LOT of stress right now. If it's not one thing - it's another. 

 

It's 4th quarter and the busy retail season online. It's so many things. If you, like me, have been feeling some high blood pressure symptoms such as the head ache that won't go away, the sound of blood rushing in your ears, and anxiety is turned up to 11 - try some fresh grapefruit juice. 

 

 

From the webmd: Studies have shown that eating grapefruit every day can lower systolic blood pressure by as much as five points. 

 

This may be due to grapefruit's high levels of potassium, which neutralize the negative effects of sodium (a common cause of hypertension). F9 - Fast paced - Fun - Family Film!

 Hi ya Gorgeous!

 

Last week the latest installment in the Fast and Furious saga was released, simply as, F9.  Last night, my family went to see it in the theater and oh my goodness! It is a fast paced, fun, film that is action packed.

There are 24 instances of profanity but there are not the major F bombs as seen in other PG13 films. There are 2 scenes with alcohol in them though little drinking. There is a scene with some scantily clad young women dancing. 

There is a LOT of big, loud, noisy, a bit non-nonsensical action where things don't quite make sense, but, it's an action film for fun, not philosopy.

When talking about philosophy this film has a heavy focus on family, trust, and friendships. 

Yes, there are some scenes that just don't make sense and yes, if you watch the Fast and Furious saga you will see some dead characters "magically" come back to life.

If you are a mom of boys - this film is for you. It was fun. We were laughing and enjoying the race action scenes. Overall, if you need some entertainment, this is worth the ticket price in my "mother of teenage boy" opinion.

 It is so hot. Like, weird hot. Like furnace hot - but all of the out doors is hair dryer in your face hot when you open the door. So odd! So I share a photo of when peiby and I were freezing on the beach at Christmas time because I need to focus on something cool!

Last Days Survival Guide - part 2

 It's a Tuesday here and I have a second look into the book I'm studying through from Rick Renner. It's called Last Days Survival Guide and it's a fun and fresh take on the current climate.

 

 

The book is available on Amazon in Kindle format or hardback and soft cover. This book can stand alone as a read or study tool as well as a partner to basic Bible reading.

I think what I like best about this book is the practical steps and action strategies that are included. Even if you are not a believer, or belong to an organized religion, this book will be an encouragement for you.
