Now, our experience; was good. I did like the smell and texture, it did not run into Mancub's eyes and sting which is a bonus though I'm not sure I should be putting anti-aging skin care products on a soon to be six year old?

Nonetheless-I liked the product overall but have one burning question: is this a sunscreen or a face lotion? Is this an everyday product or as needed for sun exposure? How will it wear under foundation if used daily? What are the results of this as an anti-aging product if used daily/weekly?

Take a look at this picture. I tried this today and it worked. Usually the natural deoderants don't, but I"m here to tell you that as I go through the master cleanse, sweat through the humid Arizona monsoon season, this product worked. Now it's a deoderant not an anti-perspirant. So yes, I still sweat and in fact did have sweat rings in my armpits, though I also had the sweaty band around my middle and a big wet strip down my back and that's what happens when you sit through swim lessons and soccer lessons outside in the hot sun. Alas! I did not stink! Nope, not a scent. Only the sweet hint of limey grapefruit. The product is cool to the touch when you apply and didn't rub off on my clothes. So, get it from Sephora or on their website, I think it's worth your time!

I also tried: The Healthy Sunscreen and I liked it though I"m still in love with my La Roche Posay spf 45 matte sunscreen. This has a high zinc oxide content which adds barrier protection
and it held up under the chlorine water of the pool. It's good, I like it, but not ready to switch from the matte sunscreen by LRP.

Hello friends! I am always searching for a new, improved and better version of sunscreen given
the amount of time that my toddler and I spend outside in the searing Arizona sun. Remember, it's a dry heat!

The blog received this sample of Supergoop! spf 30+ faace and body lotion along with the stick that I actually have on my face.

Both products include the ingredients Parsol 1789 and parsol slx, and those are fancy names and terms for a really good sunprotection ingredient. Though I'm a touch old school in this area and love that the stick contains 5% of zinc and that is why you can see the thick white stripes on my cheeks and nose, forehead and chin too! If you remember the lifeguards of the Doris Day time and beach movies, you will have seen their noses covered with a thick lathering of zinc oxide which acts as a barrier. So it looks like Supergoop! combined the goodness of Zinc along with Parsol 1789 to make a great sunscreen.

I'm going out running now ( AZ temp 102!) and will test the sun and sweaty capability of the product.

Some notes about the product: it's a natural product, is geared for sensitive skin, is oil free, fragrance free, paraben free and does not test on animals. So, sounds pretty good? You can get it at Sephora and Giggle stores. (www.giggle.com ...what's a Giggle store?)

Sun protection! Before you click through to see which brands are best, here is my two cents: When you buy Banana Boat Sport waterproof spf 50 from Costco on coupon, making the two large bottles and extra grease stick a total of $8-it's a good bang for the buck!
I use it daily to run in and it is sweat proof. Now I do have to reapply while at Sunsplash and I do get a wee bit pink on the back. It could be the length of time we are there, the standing with a double raft over my head going up a slippery hill to get to the next waterslide, or just my fair skin; but I feel it's worth the money and I love having a Costco coupon to reduce the price.

I love today's beauty bubble and I am also real, real fond of the Cellceuticals Photodefense spf 55 amazing day lotion! I clicked through and read the answers to the questions and honestly, I have left it on longer than what the box said too.

I hope you enjoyed the how to video yesterday! I love making the videos for you and teaching you a wee something new in makeup or maybe just refreshing the technique you are already using.

I've got more videos coming soon and some blog product reviews also! In fact, a box of swag just arrived...

In the meantime, remember to wear your sunscreen, and if you like me, have a challenge with your sunscreen making you shiny, switch to a "dry" formula. I like the clear athletic sprays from Banana Boat and they dry down shiny. So, I'm shiny and I put my makeup on over the spf 85 after hosing down my face and letting the sting of it wear off my eyes.

In Arizona, we need this kind of protection! There are some doctor / dermatologist brands that are higher in spf and specifically for the face with less sting and more uva/uvb protection; when I come across that I will let you know!

In the meantime, consider googling or Bing'ing for "summer" or spring deals at your local dermatologist office. I know that Dr. James Michaels in Las Vegas has specials as well as local Phoenix offices for helping you keep your youthful look.
