I'm a fan of the Laura Mercier brand to begin with, though this baked eyeshadow called Black Karat is the answer to a day look turning night glamor look!
Why? Because it can be used wet and dry.
So start the day with a thin coat of the shadow all over the lid. Then end the day and go to the party by applying another coat of shadow to the lid and then wetting your liner brush and using this same shadow as an eye liner.
Or if you really want to funk it up-scrape a wee amount of Black Karat eye shadow out and mix it with a salve, like a touch of petroleum jelly or any type of eye safe lacquer to make a wet glistening eyeshadow that is smoothed all over the lid with a pop of gold on the eyebrow bone.
Honk honk. That's hot.
