Guys and the need for retexturizing...before shaving

Friends, and friends of friends: guys and guy friends:
Just because you shave doesn't mean you don't need one more step of exfoliation.

Lately I have been seeing so many different levels of tough, rough skin on men!

It is in contrast to the most recent cover I saw on the newstands that men are getting facials and manicures. These guys must be tucked away in an office cubicle somewhere because the everyday gentleman I encounter in my day, needs to retexturize his skin.

There are a couple of choices: either use a fruit acid, a glycolic acid or a fine grained scrub. Yes, fine. Just because you are male, doesn't mean it needs to be the texture of Lava hand soap. Washing your face shouldn't hurt!

Before you shave, simply use an acid pad, like AB Skincare in 10% solution. Or, if you like to rub and scrub use Dermalogica's face scrub.

Now shave. Now finish with a light weight moisturizer, choose the brand that you like. And just some info, some packaging and brand names are just for men, but there is not alot of difference between "men" products and regular anti-aging products.

The only time there is a big difference is if it is an acne control product.

Try Zirh, or Jack Black or Davies Gate. If all that sounds foreign and your not willing to make an extra trip, then pick up some Neutrogena while at the grocery store, Olay or L'Oreal will work wonders too.

Good luck and thanks for retexturizing and moisturizing your skin. The women of the world thank you!

p.s. Speaking of guy stuff: I just got the new solo album from Brian Head Welch called Save Me From Myself and it's lovely. He needs to retexturize his skin too.
