Throwback Thursday- Besame Cosmetics First Impression

It's Thursday and today I have a "throwback" video for you. Though before I get in to that, I want to share that I find it hard to believe that it's coming up on a year of the beginning of the end of the world as we, or I, know it. 

 

 

This time, last year, life was a form of normal with school for my family and work for me. Trips were planned and in person convention emcee work was booked and then, everything changed. Hence the Patrick photo. Many days, I feel like I look like the expression on his face! 

After a year at home my body looks like Patrick as well. I know that some chose to seriously double down on fitness. Not me. I seriously doubled down on boxed wine, binge watching shows and lamenting fireside from the couch. Ce` la vie. So goes life. Now, let's talk Besame Cosmetics and the very beautiful Mary Poppins shade of red!

 

This was actually made a few weeks ago as I had just finished interviewing Gabriela at the flagship store for Besame Cosmetics in Burbank. Oh how I love this color and the history behind it!

How to make thin hair look thick with Keranique: Spring Break edition

Happy March to you! This month is a month of massive movement, change, advancement and then some!

I am posting for spring break so you have time to get prepared, though my son's school doesn't have break until the end of April and then curiously school gets out 3 weeks later? Which he is counting down the days til he is out!

Today's digest has an introduction to a new and in my opinion revolutionary hair styling product from Keranique. It's like the modern day Ron Popeil GLH. If you don't know what that is, Google it!

 I am so in love with this Keranique Tint & Texture Color Density Treatment in dark brown! It sprays on color that will cover grey hair, is light and fluffy in texture, doesn't wear off and gives hair a thicker appearance. Note, when I ran my fingers through my hair the product did not budge but when I scratched my scalp it did. So don't do that!

 The Keranique Lift & Repair Treatment Spray I have used over and over again to help baby my thyroid hair and protect my color while also egging on some additional growth. It has taken nearly a year to grow back enough length on my hair to cut off all of the damage and still have enough length to put a pony tail up.

Now let's talk this week's book! I got this from my Mom because she was going to read it but passed it to me first. Now I have to buy her a new copy because I have already marked up, highlighted, underlined and dog earred this copy!

The Most Excellent Way To Lead by Perry Noble is a most excellent read for any one from moms, to high schoolers, college students and business owners! There is line after line chock full of wisdom!  I highly recommend it!

Finally, with the spring weather and warmer temps, it's a good time to switch up your fragrance and move into something lighter, more floral, with a hint of green and clean to it!
