Well - here we go again! Testing a "water proof" and "wear proof" brow product! I bought this at the Walmart for roughly $10. It was $8.97 plus tax. I have worn it - and washed my face - and will update Instagram with what happened!

I'm looking for something that wears through ocean water, swimming, snorkeling, sun and wardrobe changes. Will this be the product?

I received this hat as a sample to review and blog about. I was offered the option to select a hat of my choice to review. I wanted a beautiful, dark wool cloche hat that would go perfect with my short summer hair and upcoming travel.
What I got was this left over from Toby Keith's performance in 1993 western hat. It's too small for my big head. There is a $10 restocking fee to return the hat.
Tenth Street sells the hats and the maker is Scala. There is a sizing chart for how to find your size here,
I suspect that I pulled the measuring tape to tight around my head and that's why the size is too small. I bet with some sweat and wear, the fit would loosen up and feel better.
This western hat has a synthetic feeling straw to it and the hat band is faux leather and turquoise plastic. If you are going to a summer concert or outdoor festival, this could be a good option for you?
Back to the bit about sun care and skin care. A physical barrier to the sun for your skin is a great way to protect yourself and adding a hat to your outdoor time is a perfect way to layer up protection. First apply the sunscreen, then apply a hat to block your face from damaging UVA and UVB rays.
If you haven't added a hat to your summer skincare - consider it!

It's Thursday and today I have a "throwback" video for you. Though before I get in to that, I want to share that I find it hard to believe that it's coming up on a year of the beginning of the end of the world as we, or I, know it.
This time, last year, life was a form of normal with school for my family and work for me. Trips were planned and in person convention emcee work was booked and then, everything changed. Hence the Patrick photo. Many days, I feel like I look like the expression on his face!
After a year at home my body looks like Patrick as well. I know that some chose to seriously double down on fitness. Not me. I seriously doubled down on boxed wine, binge watching shows and lamenting fireside from the couch. Ce` la vie. So goes life. Today really marks a turning point in the season and time that we are in. So this idea is a first impression of the Vital Proteins Collagen Water in peach white tea and some positive and encouraging chit chat for goal setting and purpose driven planning for this 2020 season.
For me, the quarantine life started on Friday, March 13. My son's school was officially closed and he left early for his spring break trip. Problem is, he's never made it back after spring break! The interstate travel is banned and there really is no reason for him to leave the ranch since it's full of teenage boy good times like boat, plane, truck and off road vehicles. The city holds so little for a teenager to do outside with all of the parks closed, and being one step away from lock down curfew times. So while the cub is away I've read a lot of books, watched a lot of documentaries, completed 2 scripts developed for a one door policy and then did a lot of snacking. Like, a lot.
Now I am gearing up for a very productive spring season and I'm retooling my skincare, haircare and supplements and that's when grocery shopping in the Ralphs I came across this Vital Proteins Collagen Water.

These lil goodies are available on Amazon and I have a video demonstrating me using them. Overall, I like them. Though as much as I do like them, I don't really use mine because lately,
(insert *gasp* here) - I've just been buying the pre-made packaged boiled eggs that are already peeled and ready eat. It's been the clean eating help as I travel. Having my food prepared and ready in a cooler as I drive has kept me out of the drive thru!
