 I just started using my sample and it's what is going to travel with me over this flash whiz bang turnaround trip to IpsyOS in Santa Monica via a gig in Vegas and back!

So far, I'm really liking the texture and scent, the absorption and bit of glow I get after applying!

EVO keeping me travel beauty prepared!

 Last week I was in Las Vegas at the Cosmoprof show and I ran into my ol' pals EVO.
Which, as you know-are one of the best natural hair care product lines available!

It was at the show that I picked up a few goodies: such as the travel set which contains these necessities:
Ritual Salvation shampoo, Ritual Salvation Conditioner, Protein Treatment, a body creme and a body wash.
So right for dropping into my trusty Samsonite vanity case and hitting the road!

I also discovered the Helmut full strength hairspray as well as Haze, a styling powder that gives enormous volume while still being moldable/stylable and my favorite the Working Spray. It's like a hairspray with texture that lets you style your hair, and then a few hours later, restyle without a gummy sticky mess.

Labor Day weekend looks with Laura Mercier

Hey ya Purty!
Are you traveling this weekend too? I am in Vegas for a Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers concert. Oh it brings back such sweet memories of college to be attending the concert with friends from long ago!

Mayhem is ensuing...
And while I am enjoying said mayhem, I will be wearing a romantic summer gypsy makeup look with jeans, gold flip flops and a concert tshirt. Stay tuned for that.

Here is what I am using from Laura Mercier-an awesome line of makeup

First: the Laura Mercier foundation primer spf 30
This product is key because so many of you ladies who don't live in the desert or sunbelt don't use sunscreen! You need too! As part of your anti-aging skincare routine, you need sunscreen. Ahem. Or should I say "foundation primer"?

Second: I'm doing my eyes with the Laura Mercier petite baked eye trio in Golden Metallics

Third: Mascara (my fave!) is the Bleu lengthening mascara from Laura Mercier

Fourth: Life does not happen without bronzer, and in this case its double trouble with the Laura Mercier Bronzing Duo. I use the darker color for a contour also.

Fifth: Laura Mercier Espresso creme eyeliner-this is three times the duty product: eyeliner, eyeshadow, eyebrows.

Finally, lips. I am on my second tube, and yes I scraped the bullet out of the first tube, of Angelic by Laura Mercier. It's a soft cremey subtle lipstick that I can dress up with liner and gloss or just wear a wee natural lip. Love it!

Now-I have a multitude of looks plus sunscreen in these Laura Mercier products and I am ready for some "mexican moonshine", some sugar in the tank, Peacemakers and friends on this Labor day weekend!
