We happen to be on holiday for my birthday in Las Vegas. It has been an epic adventure.

Shindiggery has been afoot and had and more is desired. We are now looking ahead to the future and what our next trip can be. In YouTube land we are known as MakeupUniversity and Let's Make Food From Food - but - our alter egos are Lions Rest Productions and Bored Puppy Productions. 

We are waiting at Battista's - hole in a wall - a hidden gem in Las Vegas for amazing Italian food. I highly recommend it!

 I love the shadows in the Love Affair quad! I can do my shadows, brows and liners, all in this quad!  The bronzer cheek duo, called Lovely Duo blush is highly pigmented and a shimmery bronze tone that can do both highlight, cheek color and a bit of  contour even!

Now, I love the Foxy color lip gloss and it feels and wears great. The mascara - and you must know - I am hard on mascaras as it is my favorite makeup product - this TIGI mascara is for those who like a light and natural lash look.

For the other end of the the makeup price spectrum, let's look at Hard Candy, available exclusively at Walmart and online at Walmart.com.

I love this line for it's bold use of color and innovative products, as well as their affordability. Most products are $10 and under!

How to Yom Kippur and 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud

I'm Christian and follow the feasts and high holy days that are listed in my Bible - such as a day of atonement which is better known as Yom Kippur. It's an important day to fast and reflect.

Yom Kippur is "the tenth day of [the] seventh month" (Tishrei) and is regarded as the "Sabbath of Sabbaths". Rosh Hashanah (referred to in the Torah as Yom Teruah) is the first day of that month according to the Hebrew calendar. On this day forgiveness of sins is also asked of God.

To help me in my fasting, I'm doing some deep cleansing of my skin with this 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud.
