I'm telling you my friends - like the old adage that says " there are two sides to every coin and every story" - I truly believe that there are two sides to the quarantine life. You can look at how we have all been off of work and life for over a month now and that's bad - or - you can look at this beautiful selah and pause that we have been given for the Earth and ourselves to re-do, recreate and reformulate how life will be for us going forward. Life is good! Choose life! Wham! and George Michael were right!

Today's wine video is a review of all of my Israel wines I purchased at The Barrel Room in Texas. This photo is from Glory of Zion in Denton. That was such a fun weekend and we had a lot of great experiences while there. We only make it out once a year - and it's always worth it!

So, due to yesterday's accidental morning dose of melatonin and not getting my video assignments done and countless other things, I am not able to get online and do a live video today with a review of all of my new favorite wines from Israel!
I only have one left ! Next week I will do the Israeli wine video review.
Now - it's summer. Well, sort of. Our weather here in Arizona has been so weird! It would normally be warming up but instead we have had one freak storm after another. So much rain, which is a good thing - just odd.

Oh you know what day it is -Wine Wednesday! I received my order of wines from The Barrel Room in Texas which is full of imported Israeli wines.
It's also the first day of May - which means, May birthday month! My birthday, my peiby's birthday and several friends all have birthdays in May - so let the fun begin!
I'm so excited to start the sipping! My first bottle I"m opening is the Vintner's Select H - a semi dry cabernet sauvignon.

Today I am on a field trip in Las Vegas and shopping at Total Wine. This store is purely devoted to all things alcohol and wine. There are so many choices - though for this video and my budget, I am only getting wines in the $10 and under range.

It's a favorite day of the week - Wine Wednesday~!
What's in your cup? Oh my cup. It's dizzy. I have been struggling with and living with extreme dizziness since February 3rd. It's so bizarre.
So my love for all things wine have greatly been curtailed - to just a wee cup. Gone are the glorious full goblets of delicious wine. Who ever heard of getting dizzy for dizzy sake anyways?
The dizzy got me a wine I hadn't quite planned on and you can see more of that in this video.
I'll tell you what being dizzy all the time will do for you - it will make you distracted!

Well, I'm nearly all better - nearly - and it's time to celebrate and
have a glass of wine! Shabbat needs a glass of wine in my world! Speaking of celebrations - the Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras season has led us into the season of Lent.
No matter where you are in your walk of faith - or not - it's a great time to reflect on where you are, who you are and where you are going and who you are becoming! Consider these items in the photo below:

My home state is experiencing weather like what other's get! It's been raining for 2 days now and there is more in the forecast for tomorrow! Whoa! Holy sticker bush Batman!
We don't normally get this kind of rain and on one hand I'm so thankful! This is so good for the desert, for Lake Mead, and for replenishing the land! Thank you God. Oh wait. This kind of rain will make the goat head bush that has stickers that pop car tires proliferate! So, the moral of the story is, you win some - you win some I guess.
Now on to the wine of the day -fresh from my small town gas station. True story! I found Cocobon at this same station. Now the tweakers have been doubling up efforts on stealing from the store. So the selection is halved and the prices have doubled. Though there are some times when my home storage is depleted and I'm coming in off the road from a work trip and frankly, I need a nice glass of wine! So I head to the gas and sip to test my luck with what I can find!
